Has anyone had any experience with using the carnival gift cards? I would love to use them to pay off my cruise.
When I previously had gift cards, they told me I had to use them when on board as a credit toward my onboard account. That was two years ago and could have changed. I’d call Carnival to be sure.
I just spoke with Carnival and the gift cards can be used to pay off balance. I just bought one online and am waiting for the email to come so I know it’s legit.
I use them all the time to pay balance, gratuity, internet, etc. took 2 cruises last year & has zero issues using GCs to pay
I always use gift cards to pay off my cruises and for on board purchases. You can not use for deposits.
I replied but accidentally didn’t link it to your question, sorry. And yes we used our carnival gift cards in December to pay off the balance but since we had multiple cards I had to call customer service who was wonderful about it 🙂

We bought lots of gift cards for carnival thru the year and then I called to apply them all. I had no problem at all. I think they said online you could only apply 3-4 at a time. I had more than that so the customer service helped me and it went off without a hitch. We did this this past December so unless they have changed it should still be the same!!
You can also apply on ship at Guest Service. It goes on your Sign n sail card. If u don’t use all, its refunded back on a GC. This happened to us on our 2017 Christmas cruise. Now we have $78 to use on 2018 one plus others we are purchasing. We won’t have leftovers😁
Thank you so so much was able to get 5 petco gift cards for a dog house we were getting anyway, after saving $50 with these cards and price matching to Amazon, we saved a total of $90.

Has anyone used one these cards for royal carribean? I was reading the description on the ebay page and it says only for new reservations. Is this true? I was hoping to get a RC gift card to use to pay an excursion or drinks on board.
