Do World Market couches come fully assembled? I would consider that couch, but I don’t have access to a vehicle that can accommodate a large piece of furniture. I don’t have a license, so I would have to convince my mom to drive a U-Haul cargo van again. She wasn’t comfortable driving it the one time I was able to convince her.
Hi Sara! This couch does not come fully assembled. I just called in to customer service to be sure and they confirmed that some assembly is required. I do find the instructions listed on the product page when clicking through and scrolling down to the Specifications. Hope that helps!
Sara you should call Home Depot and check out the daily rental for a pickup truck and you can load everything in the bed of the truck. Judy make sure not to rent it on a day that rain cause the trucks don’t have covers. Your mom would be more comfortable driving this I think. Good luck
This is a great idea, Juma. I am planning to do this with the couch I ordered if the box doesn’t fit in my hatchback. Luckily a Home Depot is in the same shopping center as my Cost Plus World Market. I just checked and it’s $19/75 minutes ($5 each additional 15 minutes) plus a $50 refundable deposit. It’s possible the amount is different depending on location, but that’s a pretty reasonable price to move a couch!
I bought a couch like this from costco. All I had to do for assembly is put the legs on. Hth
You can just rent a regular van. It should fit fine if you get one that the seats fold flat. they are quite roomy and easy to drive.

I was having a friend come over to re-do our play room to a older kid style “game room”….the perfect day too! She’s a designer and we spent an hour in my home and an hour at World Market. These deals are CRAZY good right now! I ended up renting a Home Depot truck for $30 total and we got it all home in my SUV and that truck. I’m telling you…I LOVE W.M!! My dining room, breakfast area, and living console and side tables are from here and they LAST! We are so happy. Run, don’t walk….if you find any more inventory in your local/or area, stores!!

So disappointed in world market this time. Super excited about couch and chair purchase last weekend during Memorial Day sale… and just found out purchase was cancelled due to being out of stock. In the age of computer inventory I have no idea how it would take a company a week to figure out they are out of stock on a sale that was already complete! We wasted a week of time figuring we would have furniture and now are back to square one.
