Do these Tiki torches really repell mosquitos? All the reviews are from people who received free products during the winter so I don’t trust any of them.
i haven’t tried one myself but it should work like any other items that one would use citronella with. It’s not the tiki torch itself but the citronella oil that repels mosquitos. I always get bit so i feel the need to still use some sort of repellant but citronella candles and such seem to help create a barrier…
We have the pineapple one and use it every time we are outside. We haven’t gotten bit by anything. It also keeps the wasps away, which is the biggest perk for me!
We use the Tiki’s on a stand and they work really well. The citronella oil is good to repel mosquitos; you just need to read about how many you need for your size space. We love to take them camping, and put one about every 6-8 feet around the site. We have to light them about an hour before using that space, when we are in a heavy mosquito area. These use the same oil, so they should work well. I think they’re cute too!
