Wait! Schools are not even out yet and back to school sales are starting?

    • SJ

All the schools in my area are out already…

  2. Sam

Our last day was last Thursday…the countdown to “first day” begins…

Does anyone know how these sales compare to normal
Back to school sales? Is it better to wait?

    • Alyssa

Yes, these are comparable. I’m pretty sure that these are the lowest prices I saw last year for the Crayola brand.

    • MommySpendsLess

They look pretty similar to me. I think last year Staples had the same price on crayons and their markers and colored pencils were $0.97…
You used to be able to get Crayola crayons for $0.25 but that’s become rare the last few years and if offered there’s usually with a quantity limit of 1-5. You could probably still get generic crayons for $0.25 if you wait. I used to frequently get CVS house brand supplies free after ECBs – they’d offer 1-2/week but I don’t see that anymore either. Walgreens and Office Depot are both likely to offer some limited time super low priced or penny items but I don’t recall Crayola products being offered – more like generic brand glue, eraser caps, pencil sharpeners, etc.

Are these deals in stores only or online as well???

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      These are online! 🙂

      • Aleshia Jones

But you can opt for free in Store pick up

These are stock up prices for me. Doesn’t get cheaper than this in my area even with back to school deals.

Usually I can find Crayola 24 ct for .25, I buy 50 to give Trick or Treaters. Last year I could not find them for .25 at all, so I had to pay .50. I check all sites often in my search for .25 Crayola brand. I hate to have to give the cheapo crayons. My price for markers and colored pencils is .50.

  7. Alyssa

How long does this sale last??

    • Serrina

I am not sure but I would like to know too.

    • Liza (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I’m not finding any specific dates posted online, Alyssa, so it may just be while supplies last. Hope that helps!

    • gwenny182

In store said all summer long 🙂

  8. Jessica

If you’re buying just a few, knock yourself out. If you’re buying for an entire grade level to donate, like me, best to wait. I believe I was able to get the Crayola Crayons for 25¢ at WM during BTS sale dates. Once September rolled around, Kroger put them on clearance for 33¢ a box. WM also had the markers for 50¢~$1.

    • Mellyf

      WM?

      • LindaS

        Probably Walmart

        • Jessica

          Yes, WM means Wal-Mart.

  9. Merle

Dang, no sale on washable markers 🙁

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Keep an eye out! There will probably be a deal on those as it gets further along in the summertime!

  10. Sheri

Thanks for this! I’d love to stock up on packs of colored pencils for this year’s Operation Christmas Child boxes!
