We are going on our 2nd season of using this. Two 8 year olds and 4 year old almost 3 times a week in the summer. We have also had more kids on it but this is just the average use. It has held up really well. I believe there is one area coming apart (less then an inch) up by the handle where they climb up but I just duct tape it and it was fine! We stake it down and it holds up. It does take some time to take down and let dry out and can be a pain but the amount of time my kids have played on this and the entertainment it has provided is worth it to me!
This is great for the grandparents house. It can be a process to set up, dry off, and put away . . but the grandkids go crazy. . . love it. . . and my parents have something fun to do on a hot a summer day. The 8-9 year old boys can’t wrestle on it . . but it is pretty sturdy. Great buy in my opinion.
We have this same one. Got it last year after it was posted on hip2save. Get it! Our kids love it. Yeah, it’s a pain to lug it out, put it away and yup it wastes a lot of water and yeah you’ll have dead grass in the exact spot where you keep it. But the kids just absolutely love it! My advice…let it dry before putting it away. We just turn off water and still let kids use it to play. And every month or so, give it a good bleaching or use the mildew spray before you put it away just to make sure it stays clean.
These slides are fantastic. We had them when my children were young and we use them at a camp I work at in the summer for “splash day”. They are tough to get dry and can destroy your grass. We find if you flip it over and move it every few hours it speeds up drying and saves your grass. Well worth the money.
Have had it for 2 years and the kids 5&8 love it. In fact people are always asking us to give them a call when we blow it up because their kids love it!
I bought one of these for my nephew for his 4th birthday when they were new and $400! One of my most favorite pictures of him, is on this slide. I wish I knew how to share a picture here. He just GRADUATED from high school. LOL Seems like it was just yesterday. 🙂 It didn’t hold up well but it sure was fun. I have to believe they have improved the quality of them since that was 14 years ago.
Aww, what a great memory to have!! Thanks for sharing with us! 😉
Oh my gosh those look like so much fun!
Yes they do! 😉
Did someone once mention bees were attracted to this slide?
Yes! ours seems to, they get stuck in the netting at the top and cant get out. I guess attracted to the yellow at the top.
Bought this two years ago and used it for 2 seasons so far. Haven’t used it this season yet. Kids love it. Used at birthday parties.
Only note – didn’t think or didn’t realize that you can’t allow the water to sit and warm up in the pool. As soon as you turn the blower off the walls deflate and all water comes out. So, it’s either running with the blower a long time to warm in the sun, or it’s just simply very cold hose water. Not sure why I didn’t think of this before purchasing!
Thanks for sharing your feedback Amy C! That’s great that it’s held up for two seasons so far!
I bought one last month and my kids love it!
So awesome to hear the kids are loving it Krissi! Thanks for sharing your feedback!
We bought this at Kohls 3 weeks ago, 3 rough 8 year old boys put a big hole in it the first time they used it. Packaged it back up and they took it back with no issues! I am hesitate to buy it again because it ripped but it was cute and they did have a blast for the one time they used it.
Some of the reviews for this product aren’t that great from what I’m reading… As in using it one or two times and having seams split 🤔 wouldn’t be worth it if that’s the case… Does Kohl’s have a generous return policy?
Kohl’s return policy is AMAZING!!!
Melissa, That is what we experienced. However it was a long time ago, the first year they made them. I was hoping they improved that in time. I guess not. Fortunately I bought it at Walmart and took it back the next spring when we discovered this, with no hassle.
We purchased one of these from a Hip2Save deal 4 or 5 years ago. We use it TONS every summer! I think it will be done for after this summer, but it’s been worth every penny & we’ll definitely be getting another!
They are so easy to set up & take down too! I always do ours by myself (I even did it 2 summers ago, multiple times, when I had a broken foot & was in a walking boot 🤣
Wow, that is impressive!! 😂
How good is Kohl’s return policy in case there’s a leak after one or two uses?
We love ours. It says up to 12 years, but I would probably opt for a larger one if you have 9+ age kids. My 10 year old neighbor is a little big for it ( though she still has fun ).
Ended up buying the larger blast zone pirate inflatable from bed bath and beyond. With the 20% off coupons and discover store 5% cashback I was able to purchase it for around $125.00 more. Just wanted to say thank you because I found it on Kohl’s site from this post!
Picture is misleading….you can’t fit 6 kids in there with all that extra room… more like TWO kids tops. There isn’t all that room from the bottom of the slide to the edge. Wish they’d put an actual picture online, not this photoshopped mess. Grrrrr
Thanks for the feedback, Christen!
We bought this last year for this price! It’s brought tons of fun. It’s been very sturdy. The kids can play hours on it and it’s held more than 7 kids. While they all can’t be going down the slide at the same time there is plenty of room in the pool/slide to fit all of them. The water empties easy. My nine year old and her friends still love it. I definitely feel like I’ve gotten my money worth out of this!
