Has anyone used this brand? seems like too good of a price to be true. Amazon has a lot of reviews.
Amazon has a lot of mixed reviews 🙂
All flea and tick products on amazon have mixed reviews because there is a huge market for fakes. It seems that this is an easy product to reproduce as being fake. I will never buy these unless I’m ordering directly from a national pet store or my vets office. It’s just not worth the risk.
I thought the good reviews outweighed the bad – So, I’m giving this a shot. I have been giving the dog oral pills at $20 a month from the vet. Those pills are like feeding him poison. So, I’ll feel better doing the application on his back. Just hope it works!!!!
This product also gets absorbed transdermally, just an FYI
Don’t buy this brand. I work in the veterinary industry and it is no good. Spend the extra money and get the Seresto collar, Simparica chewables or FirstShield Trio topical.
Chris thanks going to research your suggestions now. I need something also for darn mosquitos they are horrible now since all of this rain we’ve had.
I’ve thought about ordering from Amazon before because it was such a good price then I started reading the reviews and did some googling, it was shocking how easy it is to accidentally buy counterfeit product.
see for your self – google: “fake flea and tick medicine”
We’ve actually had a lot of luck with this brand on our two dogs. Previously we used Advantix and had a huge flea problem. I’ve been using this product on both dogs for about two years now, and haven’t had any issues at all. It has the same active ingredient as Frontline.
Same here. This works great for our cats. No bad reactions, no fleas.
I live in Central FL and this product (purchased in store at Walmart), did absolutely nothing to protect my dog from fleas. I use the Seresto collar, though the effectiveness of that only lasts 6 months max, at least in our region.
