I still wear American Eagle and I’m 35! I love the midi shorts – not too short and not too long. Perfect for petite women like myself who don’t fit right in adult petite or misses sizes (when it comes to bottoms).

I love them too. I’m 28 and have a son. They are the best fit out of any jeans I’ve found! A lot of other brands are awkward, too loose in the leg but too tight in the waist, etc. But AE jeans are 👌🏻

Depends what brands you’re asking about. I’m 4’11 90 pounds and wear a 00 at Hollister & Abercrombie. The 00’s at AE are too big for me.
I wanted to like the AE jeans but if you have wider hips or are more curvy, i don’t think they’ll work out for ya. I don’t feel comfortable in them, i feel like my hips are restricted even though they fit in the waist if that makes sense?
Agreed. I’m a size 14 and curvy. They don’t fit me. Skin tight in the legs.
So I excitedly shared this deal with some of my friends (because I love AE jeans), but they told me that these jeans don’t fit them well. Turns out AE jeans are better for those with a straight (aka less curvy) body shape.
I am 5’3”, 111 lbs and I still have two size 4’s from a couple years ago, pre-pregnancy, that I wear and are in great shape, super comfy (a little loose on me actually since they’re so broken in)—but I’m straight as a ruler 😂 So maybe those who are curvier may not enjoy the fit of these jeans as much. Just wanted to pass on their input!

Maybe tht’s the secret to their amazing fit! They are meant for a straight figure. I found my first pair of AE Jeans at my favorite 2nd hand store. They are actually shorts and they fit like a DREAM!!! I could’ve swore they were made for me! After finding that pair of jeans, I was hooked! And the bonus is, I paid $3 for them!
I just recently fund a pair of AE jeans at the same 2nd hand store for the same price, and of course, I had to have them!
I swear I tried on every brand at Kohls and not a single pair fit me right. Happen upon a ratty looking pair of shorts at a second hand store that look super cool and I not only find super comfy shorts, I find a brand I will be buying for years to come!!
