In case you are wondering: 1. Only prints (laser toner, not inkjet) in black. 2. Good product; I have used Brother laser printers for years. 3. Can’t recall seeing these at a lower price, even considering Black Friday pricing.
4. Got a kid going to college this fall? Yes, you should consider buying this for them.

Yes! I’d definitely get a laser printer if your goal is printing coupons. They use toner which is more expensive but lasts well longer. This is only b&w so if you think you might want to print color later then take that into consideration.
I have this exact printer and use it exclusively for coupon printing… off brand cartridges can be purchased on amazon very inexpensively (a 2 pack was about $20) and one has lasted me over a year! The only thing I don’t like about this printer is that it isn’t wireless so I have to plug my laptop into it every time I want to print something, but the wireless model regularly goes on sale for around $90-100.

You cannot print via WiFi with this one. I would recommend the Dell one, cannot remember the mode. I bought Dell built in WiFi that works very well and the toner is less expensive if you buy it from Amazon or eBay.
These are great printers! The laser cartridges last forever for me. No nonsense, simple, easy to use. My one at home is the older version HL-2280 DW, and it is wireless. I also have a B&W Brother laser printer at the office that is not wireless.

i have it too and have been happy. my kids kept printing stuff and we were wasting so much money on ink so we tried this one. we have been very happy. We did finally get a color printer too but I keep it hidden in my office area so they stay away! great for basic prnting, coupons, letters, documents, etc. great to know about the cartridges Lauren!!!!
