I thought it was just me. I kept getting the cute dogs too and the error message, so I restarted my laptop, but now I can’t even sign in to my account. Alexa tells me she’s all sold out of Prime Day deals and to check back later :).

Amazon is frozen. Even their chat people admit it’s broken.
HOWEVER, some of the same deals are popping up on other retailer’s sites right now while competitors capitalize on Amazon’s problems. Walmart.com just sold me an air fryer for 39.99, the same price as the Amazon lightening deal that wouldn’t let me check out.
