Welp, won’t be buying much there. It was a money thing … the calendars sell out, but they don’t want to give people free stuff for 12 months.

I used to love their chicken salad sandwich and they discontinued that. I don’t know if they did that everywhere or just in my area ,but I miss that sandwich. I really don’t eat there much now that they’ve done that. š
I agree! The chicken salad was our favorite and then they discontinued it (yep, they took it off the menu everywhere.). I donāt go there much since they got rid of it.

They really are a very giving company. They always are at ALL of our major community functions giving away free food cards and they also donate to our MOPS group every year.

Was wondering when this would make the post list. Very disappointed this is going away and, like others here, we just won’t be going to CFA any more. Probably better for us in the long run. Hope they don’t get rid of “Dress Like a Cow” day as well! That is our only shot these days. Enjoyed the fun of the calendar benefits while we had them (only two short years in our area!).
You get way better treats with the app! The calendar always gave free drinks, ice cream, etc.. but on the app I always get sandwiches and salads!

This is sad, but at the same time, chick fil a CONSTANTLY had the better tasting fast food, by far the best customer service, and there can be 100 people in line and you don’t wait for more than 5 minutes. Seeing McDonald’s and other fast food places take their ideas is proof that they know how to run a business. I rarely eat fast food, but when I do, it’s chick fil a. I also appreciate the fact they stand up for what they believe in, and are always giving away free food to victims of natural disasters, and to the service people helping them.

I like the app a lot. I used it all the time and get a bunch free things. I never used the calendar so I guess it doesnāt bother me that itās being retired.

I brought several of these calendars over the years to have a free lunch at Least once week. It was fun while it lasted.

Ahhh this makes me so sad, I wondered when this would happen! We have loved our calendar cards the last 3 years, my girls loved getting a little treat each month. We will miss them so much! We sadly will probably spend a lot less time and money at Chikfila now. It was sure fun while it lasted!!
I love the calendars. I always purchased one every year. Sad to see them do away with it. First they changed dress as a cow day. Now the calendars. What’s next!

Sad to see it go, but we still love CFA! The food is good enough, it’s worth it to us to pay a little more over other fast food places. I usually eat the kids meal anyway…a little cheaper and it is plenty of food. I really should start using the app more!
Will definitely miss the calendar card… Will still go but not as much… But I did notice last yr and this year they gave less free food and more drinks… So the calendar was not worth it anymore 2 me… Also they keep going up on the price of the calendar…
What is their plan? If nothing is in place I’d guess customer loyalty doesn’t seem to be important to them. Not all have a smartphone and/or know how to use an app. Many are still ‘old school.’
I agree–I am one of the last dinosaurs without a smartphone. I have gotten their emails saying I earned something free, but without a smartphone to show at the store, I can’t get them. Very bummed about the calendar.

if I had wanted to buy them a gift card that’s what I would have done. the Calendar was bought because he always loved using the coupon for him and his wife’s grandmother to enjoy together. a gift card just doesn’t seem as special. oh well, it is what it is. š
I took my kids one day and played before we ate- we happened to be there when they were changing from breakfast to lunch. They came around with a tray giving away free breakfast sandwiches. Probably doesnāt happen everyday…..

Thanks for the heads up! I had not heard. I would highly recommend their app for those that do not have it. Free treats are earned quickly and are much better than those that have been on the calendar card recently. They also send āJust Becauseā treats also! ā¤ļø CFA!

My son’s middle school band program has used the calendars as fundraisers. Sad to see that option for fundraising will no longer be available.

I’m so sad to see the calendars being retired. I will probably not be eating there much next year without the monthly freebies. I’ve been pretty impressed with the deals I get on the McDonald’s app. If Chick-fil-A would offer similar deals I would eat there more.

Also one location close by is being remodeled and the Operator loaded a free sandwich to use at a sister location.

Hard not to love chickfila and the kindness the company shows. Only fast food we go to. The app is Amazing. Always offering free items. Loved the calendar, but it wonāt stop me from going there. Wish all the employees at other establishments were expected to be so friendly !

Will still be going. Best customer service, never had a problem with any one I have ben to. I use there app all the time. Also check your receipt sometimes there is a survey for a free chicken sandwich.
Pretty sad to hear this but will still go to Chick-Fila…itās expensive but the quality is consistently good and generally you do get through the lines quickly. Without fail, I always want it on Sunday, lol.
This wonāt stop us from going either! I rarely pay full price when we go because we always have free treats on the app. Today we actually went for free breakfast…it was a chicken biscuit, then we turned around and went for dinner. Our location (STL) was having a promotion for kids 12 and under who dressed like Fredbird (STL Cardinal mascot) they received a free kidās meal. I used two treats off my app and paid $2.10 for myself and two kids to have dinner! Friendliest people, and never have complaints!
Calendar will not prevent us from not going . They do so much for the community and owners of our chik-fil-a are our neighbors and friends . They have the best service and family nights with so many things to do if I spend $10 for food and drink 2-3 hours for my toddler I will take it
I will miss the calander card..but they are one of the best fast food establishments…always busy…always having events for police officers…family night…their seems to be no shortage of people who love their food, service and values

I get free treats often. My store gives a lot of ājust becauseā treats too in addition to the ones earned on the app. Best fast food restaurant around!

I can’t believe people would stop going to chick fil a because of the calendar no longer being offered???? We got our first chick fil a a little over a year ago here in nw oregon! LOVE chick fil a, no comparison to any other fast food! Im gluten free and I CAN actually eat there!!! They have awesome customer service! I get free stuff all the time with using the app. But I would go there without the free items! š

Oh no! I buy 3 every year! O e for work, one for home, and one for the farm. My son loves cows, and these calendars made me laugh. Our closest Chick-fil-A is over an hour away, so I never bought them for the card. Iām so sad! š±š¢
