Ticketmaster Class Action Settlement: Check Your Account (More Vouchers Have Been Issued)
Heads up TicketMaster customers!
Did you buy tickets from TicketMaster between October 21st, 1999 and February 27th, 2013? If so, due to a Class Action Settlement (claiming that Ticketmaster’s order processing fees and UPS expedited delivery prices are deceptive and excessive), you may be eligible for free ticket vouchers or discount codes.
To see if you qualify, simply log in to your Ticketmaster account, go to “My Account”, and then scroll down and click on “Active Vouchers” to find out if you have any offers in your account.
Hip2Save sidekick, Angela, (who purchases a lot of concert tickets!) checked her online account and had a TON of vouchers available – from $2.25 off a ticket to two free tickets! SWEET!
Ticketmaster has issued Ticket Vouchers to class members that potentially may be redeemed for general admission tickets for eligible events at Live Nation owned or operated venues within the United States, available to class members on a first come, first served basis (up to 17 per person).
Ticketmaster has also issued Discount Codes to class members, which will be valid until June of 2020 and will allow class members to receive discounts for future ticket purchases and/or receive discounts on future UPS ticket deliveries (up to 17 per person). I used all my free vouchers for concerts I don’t like and am selling then on stubhub. Anything is a profit since they were free! I saved 2 for possible future show. They expire in 2 years.

I’ve had vouchers for about 2 years now but can never get tickets to concerts near me. Now that I’ll be moving south, hopefully I’ll be able to use my vouchers!!
Finally I was able to get 4 tickets to 2 different shows for my daughter!! There wasn’t anything I was interested in seeing but she is very excited to see bands she likes! $150 in tickets for FREE-whoop whoop!!

Hey all, generally they reach a limit of the free vouchers they stop allowing you to use them. It’s a joke and this happened last year as well. The discount codes still work though. That said, they only give “free tickets” to specific shows and they only give a certain allotment. Once they are gone, they are gone. However, they do put up more shows periodically…there is an email address somewhere where you can get notified when that happens.

And the problem is its first come first served and if you didn’t get them you’re out of luck. Not really cool if you’re supposed to be reimbursing people.
