Please don’t waste your time. Went to this last year. The line wrapped all through the mall. Okay, understandable. Waited in line over and hour and when I got to the front they said they were out. Meanwhile there were probably 500 people behind me. Also they only had 6 colors and almost all were horrible colors that probably never sold well.

Went last year as well and they didn’t let us pick the color. I got a light purple matte lipstick 😂

Yep… you are better off doing the online deal.
While this years colors are def better then last years, I am going to skip it as those lines are not worth it. Had I known last year that it was specific colors to pick from not the whole collection, I wouldn’t have gone at all.
Plus sunday all the malls by me are closed.
I can’t see why anyone would expect that they’d let you pick from their entire lipstick collection- that’s hundreds of shades times thousands of people. Even if they did, it’s still not worth waiting in line for hours for something that isn’t promised.
Their lipsticks can be bought on sale for about $13-$14 at Ulta or even at MAC using promos pretty routinely.
I didn’t expect to select any lipstick I wanted, but I expected better than blue and purple.
Are you familiar w/ MAC makeup? They’re known for unconventional colors, so blue lipstick being offered isn’t surprising. And purple is nothing new or shocking. Either way, it was free and they didn’t have to give it out in the first place. People really need to manage their expectations better.

I’d be sleeping in this year. Last year I got up early and when I got there, they had already distributed the 100 tickets. But when I looked at the line, I realized a lot of people have brought their daughters! We are not talking about teenagers, but girls, like 8 or 9! So, no thank you.

Just like anything when it’s free it will be crowded. If your an early riser, it’s nothing. I went last year it was one in Bloomingdale and the flow of the line went fast and I received a beautiful color. I will be there this year
Same here went last year only to get a weird color that would not look good on any skin type. It might go with some weird Halloween costume. Def better idea to do it online if you have other items you need to purchase. The line wasn’t so bad for me it moved very quickly since all they were doing was handing a small bag out quickly.
last year was crowded and crazy weird colors i got grey to match my hair 🙂

They are great coupons for lipsticks, if you want a good quality price effective lipstick go to coupons.com, made in USA, Canada or Europe or in a country which does not put toxic chemicals in makeup. Don’t be fooled by the price of a product,check the back label and don’t forget what you put on your skin gets into your body.
