I used my friend’s while visiting and didn’t think it was anything special. It didn’t dry any faster but it’s heavier than my normal one so I felt like it was more work. I have thick hair that takes forever to dry even at the salon.
I got this as a Christmas gift. Even though it was a gift I really wanted to hate it because of the price, but I LOVE it. It cuts drying and styling time down, leaves my hair looking like I came out of the salon. My hair has also finally grown, my hair dresser has even noticed a difference in my hair since I’ve been using it.
I’ve had mine for over 2 years and love it. Bought my boyfriend’s mom one for Xmas this past year because she loved using mine when they’d come to stay for a visit.
I received this hair dryer as a gift. I have extremely thick, wavy hair, and with a normal dryer it would take me up to an 1:15 minutes to dry my hair. With my Dyson it has cut me down to approximately 25 minutes. So the time savings has been amazing for me. If you have fine hair that dries quickly, I would not recommend.
I own this hair dryer (bought from Best Buy). The hair dryer is amazing and worth the money for me in terms of the time I save using it – plus it doesn’t burn my hair. It’s great if you have to blow dry your children’s hair for the same reason- they have to sit still for less time and the hot air never gets too hot to hurt them.
This is waaaay out of my budget; however, I’ve used one. They are amazing! It was light and easy to maneuver. My hair dried so quickly and nicely–unlike my own hair dryer.
I purchased this for myself but it was so disappointing! I returned it. The cord is really long and is heavy, like those outside extension cords. It makes the whole thing heavy. I have super thick hair and I did not notice any difference in the drying time from my $100 dryer, which I am still using. I like a warm dry—that is how I feel my hair is dried but it definately runs cooler so I never felt like it was dry. There were always areas I missed. It would be great for someone who likes a cool dry but it is not faster or lighter. One last thing: the attachments are held on with a magnet so they fall of pretty easily. I wanted to love it so, so much! So disappointing to this full head of hair gal!

My hairdresser has used hers daily on clients hair for two years. She says she loves it, and hasn’t had any problems or concerns, despite such heavy use. I think I may have to splurge and buy one.
This better dry my hair straighten my hair and style my hair all at once ha ha ha! I can do the same with the Ionic and ceramic dryer that dries hair from the inside out with amazing shine and cuts drying time and a half 😉
I treated myself a couple of months ago and purchased one. I LOVE it!!! For me it was totally worth the cost. These NEVER go on sale so if you are considering the purchase, buy it now.

My husband bought this for my daughter and we love it. She has really thick long hair, her hair doesn’t caught up in the blow dry like a normal one, dry her hair faster and the temperature control feature is awesome.

Had this dryer and its not worth $100 never mind $400. My hair was frizzy and dry after using it. I returned it for a refund. Most of those excellent reviews are from people who were gifted the dryer from Dyson.
