These are from Brazil and are very high quality. I still have pairs that I purchased when I traveled to Brazil in 2004. In Brazil I want to say I paid around the equivalent of $5 though.

Havaianas are the best flip flops ever, they cost a little more, but the quality is really good and they are super comfortable to walk in. I have owned a few pairs for at least 5 years and they are still going strong. I have walked over 20,000 steps a day in them before and my feet did not hurt, if you are on the fence, I say go get a pair and try them out!
