The Lenny and Larry cookies are awesome! They’re just the right size. (I find the regular ones to be too big!) Now, if they’ll only start carrying the birthday cake flavor….🀀

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That’s sound pretty great! Thanks, Terresa D.!

  2. shelly

    I don’t think any of those are a deal…

    • sorry.

sorry. not sorry. then move along shell. I think these are great finds! thanks hip2save!!

    • Erin

They’re not really deals so much as “fun finds,” as the title suggests (as is much of this site now). Even when couponing heavily, I still “splurged” at certain stores like Trader Joe’s, because many of their foods are priced well for what they are (i.e., specialty foods, organic milk, cheeses, etc.).

I love their coffee. So good. And I’m really picky about it, usually only get Starbucks beans.

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      That’s great to hear, E!

Crazy about TJ cauliflower stir fry and their croissants (both found in the freezer section). Wish we had one closer to us I’d shop there every week! Such interesting and unique finds at TJ!

  5. Tolu

I love Trader Joe’s. It’s definitely my go to store. I do grocery shopping between Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Costco, Aldi and occasionally Whole Foods but Trader Joe’s and Costco are my number one

  6. Cara

Hip2Save Team, I know you’ve posted recommendations for keto friendly foods at Sam’s Club and Costco but will you be doing one for Trader Joe’s? I’d love to see what you ladies recommend.

Couponing has become so difficult that I have been pushing my groceries to Aldi for basics and TJ for my organics. No stress and no arguing at the register. I use cc and earn points and that is that. I still try to coupon for beauty stuff at CVS, RA and Wags but Walmart and Target are just a headache.

Collin I love ,love, love hip2save,as I commented a few days ago and I know you said you are working on android app isdues, but the app is pretty much useless. It is sooooo slow I just use the website.Thank you for all you hard work. Hip2save is the bestπŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– but the slow app is just really annoying.

Does Trader Joe’s accept coupons? I’m new to shopping there and still trying to figure it all out. These sound like fun things to look for on my next trip!

No coupons accepted at TJ’s. But it’s a fun store with some unique products for not that expensive. And if you have a kid, be sure to locate the blue or purple monkey. If they tell the cashier where he is, they will get some stickers or a lollipop. My 2 year old son has now started chanting β€œMonkey! Monkey!” every grocery store we go into. πŸ˜†

      • sharon

That’s amaze-balls! Thanks for the tips. And now I’LL be on the lookout for the monkey too! πŸ™‚

    • Shannon

Yes! They do accept manufacturer’s coupons! I’ve done it a few times πŸ™‚

      • Maggie

Me too — my understanding is that they only take ONE like coupon per person, and it’s got to be a match for a branded item they carry (like Lightlife). They don’t want you breaking up the order to use multiple Qs, so it really is only ONE of each coupon.

Looks like the sign on the coffee says 9.99. But the title and post say 8.99?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Whoops! Thanks for the heads up! Just updated!
