Be careful with grain free- my brother’s dog has been grain free due to a cat in the house who was allergic and would eat the dog food (of course!) and they just learned their Labrador’s taurine levels are dangerously low – apparently the taurine added to grain free food, for whatever reason, isn’t bio-available so the dogs weren’t actually getting the supplemental taurine.
Don’t mean to be a Debbie Downer, but my bro and his wife are heartbroken knowing the food they had their sweet girl on has affected her health negatively.
