Recently I had an accident where the vehicle in front of me made an illegal sharp 90 degree left turn and left my lane, then suddenly backed up and hit my front left bumper while I was in motion. The insurance company said its a comparable negligence, meaning I was 50% at fault. Mostly that’s because the other driver was dishonest in his recorded statement.
