Here’s my cat litter secret I’ll share here: Feline Pine for a 40 lb bag at Chewy’s is over $15. If you go to Tractor Supply, they have the EXACT same pine pellets for horses in a 40 lb bag for $6 and often 2/$10.

What’s the benefit to pine pellets over regular litter? I’m desperately looking for a cat box solution for my little apartment!
There is a lot of great info on pine pellets you can find on internet. We just tried pine pellets for about a week and I was just very impatient and went back to regular litter. If you have adult cats be prepared to transition slowly otherwise your cats may decide to rebel and choose other areas in your house to do their business. I learned the hard way. Good luck I hear pine pellets are a cleaner more economical way to go. FYI bought a 40 pound bag at tractor feed company for 5 bucks. Also known as horse bedding
It smells much fresher without artificial scents and is much less of an impact on the environment. I find it to be much cleaner than clay litter. Get a bag and mix it in gradually to transition your cat until they ste used to it. My cats had no problem.
