    I would think this would be very bulky. For travel years ago, I purchased inflatable bed rails. Those worked well. When I forgot them once, I substituted pool Fun Noodles. Worked great! Inexpensive, so I left them for trash at the hotel, to save car space on the way home.

    can you guys guide me through on how i can use pool noodles as bed railings? some pictures or sites would be helpful as we plan to transition our toddler to her own bed but worried about falling down midnight . TIA

      I put the pool noodle under the mattress pad on the side. Just do a web search for “pool noodle bed” and you’ll see lots of pictures.

      some people use duck tape, but I just have it as a little “bumper” under the mattress pad
