You forgot one way – don’t buy one! 😂😂

    • Jason

But without it, how will I ever walk around with my phone affixed to my head 24X7? I need to ignore my kids, friends and relatives by playing on my phone. I have such an exciting life that everyone will want to spend all their time on my facebook page oohing and aahing over my fab life and this overpriced phone will help me entertain them. I NEED THIS PHONE (and drill a hole in my head) PLEASE!!

      • Yasmin

Lol. Y’all r funny 😂, but oh so true

      • Angi

        This!

      • Dealzgurl

Hilarious! I’ll admit that I was bitten by the Apple bug and the status of it all until I got the iphone 6 that I have now. I’m actually on my 3rd Iphone 6 replacement phone and this one works okay, thank God. The other 2 were utter nightmares–one randomly dialed a customer early in the morning repeatedly…I think I counted 25 calls? I have decided to use this phone until it will not work anymore just to feel like I got my money’s worth and to pay for the hassle that I’ve had with it.

Its only benefit is that it helps me with work. Beyond that, not a fan and will not be paying all that money for a new one that will be outdated next year anyway. I don’t knock those who can afford it or are willing to pay for it but personally, I’m still in my feelings about the issues I’ve had, lol.

      • AZ

Or maybe some people just like the phone and want to buy it w/ their own money, and don’t care to impress people like you? Not that it actually affects you either way lol

      • trapti

        LOL so true..

    • Cassie

My exact thought. I guess I won’t get to hang with the cool kids.

  2. Tina

Random question- on the H2S app I don’t see the option to redeem points anymore and it hasn’t been there for awhile. When will that be coming back?

  3. Patti

On #1 option, I think you meant to put “inexpensive” instead of expensive.

    • Dkp91576

Naw they meant more expensive. The higher GB versions.

  4. Melissa

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get the iPhone deal with AT&T bill credits. I got the iPhone 7’s free with $650 bill credit by trading in my paid off 6’s and it was the worst deal of my life. They started out crediting me, no problem all of a sudden they are telling me 1) it was a bogo deal I got, 2) i didn’t trade in my phones 3) I didn’t purchase my phone on the right day ALL of those excuses are NOT true why would I trade 2 nice iphone 64 gb 6’s for an iphone 7 plus 32 gigs, I have the fed ex number saying the got the phones, I have the order confirmation showing I ordered the phone a week before the offer ended. This phone purchase was nothing but HELL and the sad part is my contract is over in October. Pay for the iPhone on your own, do NOT go into it with the idea that you would get a credit because they will find a way to not give it to you.

    • Dealzgurl

Aw man. That sounds like a nightmare. Sorry to hear that.

    • Steph

I agree. I purchase two phones on a bogo plan with them in December. One of the phones an 8 didn’t work correctly out of the box, took it back they agreed it was messed up and gave me a new one. I get one bill credit in January and NONE since. I’ve just gotten the run around as to why they took the bogo away. Oh the store made an error. Store says they have nothing to do with it once I leave. Multiple phone calls, messages, closed claims with no resolution. I’m still waiting 9 months later🙄

      • Noreen

That’s exactly what happened to me too! Bought the phones in January and still fighting with them for credit. AT&T is horrible!

    • Sisi

I left ATT 2 years ago for T-Mobile and couldn’t be happier. It was a nightmare to have them unlock my phones after I paid them. I waited months for them to unlock them. I even contacted the executive office and they couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything. All they did was try to lure me back. Why would I want to go back?

      • Neilly

I agree with Sisi! After years of being a loyal At&t customer we switched to t-mobile last year and couldn’t be happier. We did the bogo iphone deal with tmobile when we switched. No problems. Received the rebate as expected. Our service is better and our bill is less! Win-win!

    • elaine

totally agree! we ordered the xs without carrier/contract since we use prepaid autopay for our lines and we only pay $70 a month for 2 phones with 8gb internet. contracts are rip off!

    • Jenni

Sprint did this to me too. Took 4 months and dozens of calls and transfers (after sending them in my old phone) and they finally ended up just giving me one lump sum credit bc they couldn’t figure out the monthly credit. I had emails and everything documenting the “deal” I was supposed to get. In the end I got the deal but it took so many hourly phone calls it wasn’t worth it.

  6. Cwenzel08

If you buy a new one from target would you get 5% off with your red card?

  7. Gisette

Hubby pre-ordered each of us the new iPhone XS yesterday! #notsorry 😜

  8. Sarah-Rene

I am more thrilled on the Apple Watch 4. Can’t wait!

  9. Janice

I preordered the 512GB for my husband. Paid 15% down with $51.32 monthly payments. Our contract ends on 9/25 so we’ll get $40 Credit/month for our line access (2 phones). Will trade in his old iPhone 7 Plus for $330(13.75/month credit for 24 months). After all is said and done, our monthly bill will be $2.xx less and have only paid $217. 35 plus tax. Not bad at all

    • Pam

Which carrier are you with, Janice? I too have an iPhone 7+ that I own and want to trade in.

      • Janice

        Verizon

  10. CindyS

Or if you are going to upgrade, wait until Black Friday. The major retailers will almost certainly offer $250-$300 gift cards to upgrade.

  11. XTech

This post was posted on Sept. 17. Yet the Sam’s Club deal says you have to preorder by Sept. 16. ???

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks so much for pointing that out! The post has been updated!

  12. Sushi

We decided not to use the offer as it’s with a new cell line ($20/mo) & we’d have to pay the difference for the amount they’re offering ($400) plus tax so we’re sticking to the new phone only and keep 5S for WIFI (I mean trade in is a joke!)
