I checked it out on the Illinois Poison Control web site. If the chemicals leak on the skin or a minimal amount is swallowed it is probably okay if flushed immediately. The child needs to be watched carefully though. Of much greater concern is if the chemical squirts into the eyes because the eyes are very sensitive and can be burned very quickly. I doubt it’s a huge risk but read up and make up your own mind. If it’s on the poison control website, some kid somewhere has been injured.
