Does using Kohl’s gift card affect % discount like Kohl’s cash? For example, to buy $100 worth item with 30% off coupon, it’s $70, but if I use $50 Kohl’s cash to pay, 30% discount is applied only to the remaining $50. Will the same thing happen with this GC?

yes it does. sorta. you have to spend at least a portion on your Kohls charge. I buy small denominations so I can use 1 each time I shop.

I went to get this at my local store and they couldn’t work out how to get the free $10 Walgreens gift card to deduct. Has anyone done this? Is it a special gift card that the cashier needs to scan? I tried it with 2 $25 Kohls’ gift cards and a varied value ($10-100) Walgreens gift card.

The offer was listed in my store ad, it was just that they couldn’t get the checkout computer to get it to go through. They took my number and were going to check with the store manager or maybe even corporate to see what the “trick” was, I was just wondering if someone here might know.
Yes I did end up doing the deal and it worked like this – purchase two kohls $25 gift card,added $10 variable gift card and the system automatically deducted the $10. It says limit two per customer. I plan to do so another but anyone know if it is really tracked by our wage card or if it is based per transaction?
You need to take (2) $25 gift cards AND a Walgreens gift card (the one I grabbed says 0 to $500 in the upper right hand corner and has multi colored circles on it) to the register. Tell them you want $10 put in the Walgreens card. When they ring it all up it’s $60 total and then The register will automatically deduct the $10 . So you will only pay $50 for the (2) $25 gift cards! 😊
