Does anyone know if this is a good deal for legos or shall I wait till closer to christmas to find better deals? TIA!

Hey Becky, I’m a Lego deal hunter myself. I consider a hot deal to be around 3¢ a piece. This one comes in at pretty close to 5¢ each so it’s a solid deal especially since it has a variety of pieces like wheels that don’t come in most basic sets. I got one. If you’re looking for just a basic Lego set for the kids and you have a Costco membership, they have a HUGE 1500 pack for $40 right now which is just 3¢ a piece.

I would say wait unless you need it immediately. Inexpensive mixed pieces aren’t hard to come by; the sets are pricier and more popular.

Be on the look out for this set in store at Wal-Mart. I just got this one last week for $9! The smaller box of the same series was $3 and the next size up from this one was $15. They were all three double zero items so they were clearance with out being marked at clearance.

Ooh! Great finds, Rae! We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for those in our stores!
