This would be a neat fun gift! I don’t have a Costco local, but would be willing to drive a bit to get one. Does anyone know if you can shop in their store with a one time guest pass or do you have to pay the membership fee just to shop?

I am pretty sure that if you get a Costco gift card from someone who is a member that you can shop there if you use it without a membership.

I would call your store to confirm. In some states, a membership cannot be required to buy alcohol so the liquor and beer are sold outside of the club in an attached store and a membership isn’t required for purchases.
This is the case for me – I can buy alcohol/liquor at Costco (at their Costco price!) without having to have a Costco membership. I do this when we go to Las Vegas or camping lol.
Depending on what state u live in, u may be able to shop for alcohol products without a memebership. Also Costco has cash cards, kind of like gift cards, you can shop with one of those. If it’s for $20 and you spend $200 you can use any form of payment after the $20 without a memebership. So if you know anyone with a memebership:)

We bought this at our Costco in west Florida for 64.99. Last year we waited and they were sold out by the end of October!

My husband would love this, but Maryland doesn’t allow the sale of liquor in anything other than liquor stores. 😡
In Oregon you can’t either, but beer isn’t considered liquor? We definitely buy beer and wine at Costco.
No alcohol is what I should have said, I guess. So no- we can’t purchase beer or wine at anything other than a liquor store. It’s ridiculous! There’s one single grocery store in my county (maybe even the entire state) that is grandfathered in and able to sell alcohol.
Yea, that is not true at all. Perhaps for your county but definitely not for the state of MD. We have beer sold in different grocery stores in MD.

Cool gift. They don’t sell liquor at Costco in PA they really need to start. Luckily, I live close to Delaware. They said the price just went up to $64.99. Its still a good deal. Thanks for the gift idea!🍺
