T, I have all of the naked palettes and have never had one I didn’t like. Naked 1 is lighter more neutral shades than naked 2.
People loved it back in the day but other companies came out with eyeshadows that were much better formulas and way cheaper. I see people say they like Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette, and the original Jaclyn Hill palette by Morphe. (I bought that one but haven’t used it yet. It’s VERY creamy though, accidentally stuck my finger in it). For cheapest palettes check out Lime Crime (I think you can even find a sale for 40% off of more) or ColourPop. I have not tried ANY of these, though. I just obsessively check out comments on FB makeup groups. Some people do like Naked 2 and LOVE Naked Heat, whose colors do not suit me.
The Naked palettes are pretty awful. They’re not very pigmented at all…since they came out, there has been an abundance of less expensive and better quality palettes on the market. Try something like Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Soft Glam or a Natasha Denona mini palette instead. Pat McGrath also makes *amazing* eyeshadow palettes.

I got this palette when it first came out and loved it, the colors are less pinky than naked2. I have recently been using the Smokey one and realized that the shimmer colors irritate my eyes. I donât know if anyone else has had this problem with urban decay, but I donât remember the first naked palette bothering me, I still love urban decay, but will probably not get palettes anymore from them since half are shimmer:(
I also have the original naked palette. I have mostly liked it. Had it for several years now and my most-used colors are just now starting to show some use, so I feel like they last quite a long time. I also have naked smoky- I like the packaging of this one better, but I don’t care for how those colors look on me đ They haven’t irritated my eyes, but I dont wear them much either.
I have heard that W7 palettes are pretty good also, and they are pretty cheap, but I haven’t bought any because between my UD and Too Faced palettes, I have plenty to play with. But W7 are next on my list to try!
tarte has better pallets this one just did not blend well and you have to really dig in to get the eye shadow out the glitter is a little overwhelming as well. tarte is smooth and lasts all day
I see all these reviews about makeup, any comments about Clinique or anything comparable?
Iâm surprised by the negatives regarding this pallet! I personally love it and feel it is very pigmented and blends well. I also prefer a more natural everyday look. I hope this helps someone on the fence.
