This car seat can fit kids from 5-40 pounds rear-facing, 20-65 pounds forward-facing and can then fit kids up to 100 pounds as a booster seat. It has both forward and rear-facing recline positions and padded sidewalls.
Even better, its slim design allows for three car seats to fit in the back seat of a lot of vehicles!
Will this count for the free shipping if you buy something that qualifies you for free shipping for the rest of the day?
No, that offer will not work on this item as it is of larger size. Hope that helps!
LOVE this car seat. I have three of them. By far the thinnest car seat you can buy. I love that the sides are very low profile (instead of a bucket seat with high sides). I have even sat in this seat when feeding the baby. THis is the best price I’ve seen on these in 6 months, and I looked like crazy for a good deal.
We love this carseat. We have 3 of them in my Ford Flex and fit 3 across in it. Definitely a space saver, but still very comfy. Easy to switch in and out of the vehicle if need be. Kids love them and say they are comfy. If we weren’t so close to being out of car seats for 2 of my kids, I would definitely buy another 3 for my husbands vehicle. We have cheaper ones in his, but they don’t fit the best. I recommend this car seat to everyone I know.
SO awesome to hear that, Rebecca! Thanks a bunch for your recommendation! Good to know how well they have fit in your car!
*high five* I also have three of these across in my Ford Flex and it was the smartest car seat purchase we’ve made to date. 🙂
Is there a way of knowing the manufacture date on this car seats? I ask because I know there was a recall on them last year.
I would assume that they were manufactured after 2013, as only those manufactured before that are not in the recall. Ours was in the recall and they promptly sent us new clips to install. Basically, you should have your car seat tethered. I don’t believe stores are legally allowed to sell recalled items unless they are fixed per the manufacturer’s instructions. If you do receive one that is recalled, you can contact diono for a free kit with the new chest clip.
Wish the straps did not need rethreading when the kids move up a notch. Hmmm
Did kiddos seem to mind not having arm rests? Thx!! (Looking for my very petite 6 year old)
They don’t mind one bit. I have very petite kids as well. My 6 and 7 year olds are both still in the harness. My 3 year old is actually the same size as my two older kids. None mind not having an arm rest at all.
I wouldn’t buy this seat for a forward facing kiddo. the chicco myfit is just as slim but has higher harness slots, A no rethread harness and has a great booster mode after harnessing. Other great slim options, are the graco tranzitions and the harmony defender.
THEN TAKE YOUR BEHIND TO A CHICCO POST. NO NEED TO COMMENT IF YOU PREFER CHICCO.
We have the graco slim fit and have three across two cup holder arm rest and no rethread and great head support I prefer it or the Diono
SO YOUR POINT??? GRACO CAN’T COMPARE TO THE QUALITY OF THE DIANO. IF YOU PREFER YOUR GRACO THEN GET OFF OF THIS POST.
What the heck is your deal? It’s Thanksgiving. Learn to be kind.
