You May Be Eligible For This Premier Protein Shakes Class Action Settlement
Have you bought Premier Protein Shakes?
If you bought Premier Protein Ready-To-Drink Protein Shakes ANY time from August 8th, 2011 to October 12th, 2018, you may be affected by a class action lawsuit settlement.
Have proof of purchase? If you have valid proof of purchase for your Premier Protein Ready-To-Drink Shakes, you will be awarded $1 cash for each shake for which you provide proof of purchase. That means you can receive up to $40 cash back with proof of purchase.
Didn’t save your receipts? If you do not have proof of purchase, you will be awarded $0.50 cash per shake, and you may receive benefits for up to 40 shakes. That means you’re eligible to receive $20 cash back.
Note that you must submit your claim form (online or via mail) on or before December 20th, 2018.
What’s this lawsuit about?
The lawsuit argued that Premier Protein shakes did not include as much protein as their product labeling and advertising indicate. However, Premier Nutrition Co., which makes Premier Protein shakes, denies it did anything wrong.
I actually just submitted my claim! I bought most of these shakes from Sam’s Club so I was able to download all my receipts and submit them.
How do you download the receipt? I bought all of mine there too!
When you log into your Sam’s Club account, you go to Order History and you’ll see a list of your purchases (online and in-club). You’ll be able to download the receipts from there. Hope that helps!
Is there anyway costco can retrieve my receipts? I buy them at least 2x a month.
They should definitely be able to help you in store at the customer service counter.
Go to the Costco warehouse, they can print it for you
who keeps the receipts? just taking up space in the house
I pulled my reciepts from Fetch rewards app.
You can submit without proof of purchase.
But you get less back. I think these shakes are so filling. They don’t even need more protein.
Pretty much anyone who has had WLS was on these right before and after surgery.
True. I know I was and I continue to use them for a replacement meal.
If your purchase was made at Sam’s Club you can download your receipts from your online account under order history. Even if you purchased them in the store. If you need a receipt from Costco you can get that from the customer service desk in store.
I have purchased hundreds of theses shakes. I submitted a claim today.
But can only get $40 correct ? Even if Inhad bought 100’s
Got some of these when amazon had a deal.. luckily I was able to retrieve the receipt
I don’t have receipts but I always buy mine at Costco and they have records on what you purchase. Think it’s worth my time to try and get that proof of purchase from Costco?
I have been purchasing these for the last several years in bulk at Sam’s club. I have probably purchased 3 of these per month. I was able to max out after 1 month worth of reciept. I specifically purchased these due to the claimed amount of protein in them, the low sugar, low cal, low carb label
Both my husband and son drink these so we buy a lot of these drinks. Can only 1 person per household make a claim? Or, can my husband and I each make a claim to get $40 each? TIA!
Great question! I don’t find a limit listed in the details as I read through them. They did list this email –> info@bursor.com for those with any additional questions. Hope that helps!
Thanks for posting. I found this product on my old receipts in ReceiptHog app!
Oh good! You’re welcome!
Thanks Colin, I was have 3 a day for 30 days, right before my weigh loss surgery
So how much protein do these shakes actually have?
how can we find the status of our claim?
me myself have bought thees protein shakes at sam’s club & walmart and I would like to know what this whole thing is about.Because I got a letter and I don’t know why?
When do we get the $40??? I’m just going to use it to buy more!!!!
Good question! Here is what I found in the details – “All payments to Settlement Class Members who submit valid Claims will be made within
thirty (30) days after the later of (1) the Claims Deadline or (2) the Settlement Approval Order
and Final Judgment becoming final (“Final Settlement Approval Date”)”
Hope that helps!
It’s been 2 1/2 months since deadline. How can we follow up re: status of claim? No one answers their phone
Hmm, I did find this email if you still don’t get an answer over the phone – info@bursor.com Hope that helps!
Thank you
You’re very welcome!
Did the e-mail option work for you? I haven’t received anything yet either, and it’s way past due. On a settlement blog some people have mentioned that their checks were non-cashable.
March 5 2019 and have yet to receive the money promised . Every requirement was submitted. What’s going on?
I submitted my claim 10/13/18 and just received my settlement check yesterday, 3/29/19. But the FINAL pro rated-adjusted award per shake is now $0.86, if supported by proof of claim and $0.43 if not. So my expected $20 is now $17.20.
All good and hopefully yours was also delivered by now or coming soon!
I submitted a timely claim with receipts. I have a confirmation number and a pin. I NEVER rec’d a penny nor did my husband. The website no longer exists and the phone number is unanswered!
