What age would you say these dolls are best for? My twins are 3.5 yrs old, and I’m wondering if I should get them one now as a practice run to possible AG dolls, or if I should wait until they’re 4+. Any recommendations from moms who have been there?
My daughter got her doll last year at Christmas and she was almost 2.5…she didn’t play with it much but preferred a baby doll. She is now a little over 3.5 and truly enjoys it…there is more should could be doing with it but the interest just started.
My now 4 year old, got 1 last year for Christmas. She does really well with it. The hair combs pretty good, and I also learned to braid it, if I was worried about tangles. TONS of fun for all 3 of my girls!
My daughter was 5 when she started to play with 18 in dolls. Before that it was baby dolls. I helped her a lot in putting their clothes on. Now she is 7 and she just got her one and only AG doll. I would definitely recommend only Our Generation or the like for the ages up until 7 or 8. I still plan on buying mostly Our Generation clothing for her doll as AG prices for clothes are way out of our budget. Hope this helps!
My 4 yo has had two of them since age 2. Occassionally interested, but mostly prefers her baby dolls. My advice is, before age 6 and without a sibling or friend to pretend play with them, its easier to play solo with a smaller, softer doll.

I found two retro dolls so I’m good but had to spend 2499 each. The only bummer is that the second 25% off didn’t take it off the original price. so it technically wasn’t half off.
So what they did was take 25% off the total which was 49.98 and then they took 25% off of that number which was around $37. They charged me $34. I really didn’t pay attention so I ended up calling and took 20 minutes to get a $7 gift card refunded to me. Not what I wanted but they fixed it at least

A question… my daughter is really into racing. Anything race car themed calls her attention. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find a doll that’s a race car driver. Have you guys seen any out there? Is there an AG doll with this theme? I would love to get her a doll this Christmas. Oh she’s 5 and she’s wants to be Danica Patric when she grows up.
The best I could come up with is the astronaut dolls because of the jumpsuit. If you take her out the box and add/subtract some accessories, it could work. Or I saw an AG downhill skier jumpsuit. Hope that helps!
