Curious about what Hulu Original TV shows are worth watching?
Hulu allows you to stream thousands of shows and movies including Hulu Originals, hit movies, kids shows and more! Our Team recommends The Handmaid’s Tale, 11.22.63, Castle Rock and The Good Place!
“So I secretly enjoy watching the The Handmaid’s Tale when my kiddos are in bed – sound asleep. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT watch this show with kids around. It’s creepy, disturbing, hair-raising, unpleasant, and did I mention creepy? It’s often hard to watch, but then at the same time – hard to not watch. The main character, Elisabeth Moss, is an incredible actress who shows such raw emotion and makes the show binge-worthy. There’s something to be said about a show that you talk about long after the show is over.” – Collin
What does Hulu offer that’s different or better than Netflix?
Currently airing tv shows like the most recent season of Modern Family, The Rookie, etc
In addition to currently streaming shows, they have Hulu original shows, which are very good. We have Hulu and Netflix and haven’t missed cable at all.
A bunch of adult swim stuff is on there for one. I was surprised by all the content. I had it a long time ago and it wasn’t worth it but they have stepped it up.
This is Us, The Handmaid’s Tale, The First and lots more.
COMMERCIALS!!!
LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of commercials that you can’t fast forward through or skip. An ugly waste of time. $12 a year?? Hulu should pay ME to sit through all that crap.
You can upgrade to $13/month for commercial free watching. For us it’s worth it!
Agreed, why do I pay to watch commercials?
I did it with the ebates! We cancelled my wife’s subscription after it all went through. Excellent deal and thanks everyone for walking me through all the steps. I love this site and all the people on it! Happy Black Friday peeps!
How did you get it to work with the Ebates? I’m not getting the .99 a month offer just the 5.99 a month offer
Yes same problem. When I go through ebates it only shows up the $5.99 option
I signed up for .99 in November. I was busy until today and I dont know how to get registered. My bank account has been charged.
Hi! I’m new(er) to cutting the cord. Can you watch sports through this? We are trying to find something that allows us to watch live sports. We have a firestick and I noticed there’s a Hulu app in it. Thanks.
You can for $39 a month, live sports.
Went through ebates and got $10 off 😮
How did you get this to work if you don’t mind me asking?
How do you use ebates??
Got it and with the $10 ebates!!
Watch your charges. Even though mine said .99 and I used a different email and new payment method they charged me $7.99 after the fact. I contacted them and he said it’s a known issue.
Would this work for viewing on my Fire HD 10 1080p 64GB? Thanks!
When I go to hulu to sign up (haven’t used hulu in years) as returning customer, say $5.99 for 12 months, is there a promo code?
After chatting online with Hulu, the customer rep said to go to http://www.hulu.com where we successfully signed up for the .99 offer. We did try Ebates first but could not get the .99 offer.
Thank you. Such a great deal. I am a returning customer and would not have known this offer if I did not see here. Yay!!
Thank you! Just signed up. Now off to binge Handmaids Tale season 2…..
You’re welcome! Enjoy!
and if you are an e-bates shopper – sign up for hulu thru ebates & you will receive a $10 rebate back so it will be like the 1st 10 months are free
How long does it take to get the credit on ebates? Mine isn’t showing, it’s been almost an hour.
If going through Ebates doesn’t show the 99cent deal properly, then click on the Hulu logo on top left corner and it shows the deal.
thank you!!!!! That worked!!!
mine did not 🙁
Thank you! That worked for me. I received the $10 Ebates credit this morning.
will I lose $10 cash back from ebates if I decide to cancel the plan after first month?
Come on. Don’t be that guy.
No. I’ve returned orders I used ebates with due to them but fitting or boot needing them any more and not lost the cash back.
Thank you. We’ve been wanting to cut the cord so maybe this will help us do it sooner.
I was thinking the same thing! You’re so welcome, Rica!
Thank you, I just signed up! 😊
You’re welcome!
doesn’t look like you can do ebates and the 99 cent deal at the same time. * To qualify for a Welcome Bonus, you must be a new member and make minimum qualifying purchases totaling at least twenty-five dollars ($25) within ninety (90) days of becoming a Member.
I’ve been eyeballing a Manfrotto Travel tripod for awhile and FINALLY I got one. Black Friday price drop of $90 regular price $239, so I got it for $149 plus there’s rebate for a FREE gorilla tripod worth $119.00. I’ve also wanted gorilla tripod as well and I was waiting on a price drop, but hey FREE is even better. This deal is on BHphoto.com
Oops placed this comment on the wrong post. Sorry!
No Luck, Says “Page Not Found”
I’m still seeing that the offer is available, are you able to try in a different browser?
I just signed up. Does anyone know if I can add multiple profiles with the 99 cent subscription?
Why am i seeing 5.99?
Hmm, are you a current customer? This offer is for New or Returning customers. Hope that helps!
Thanks Hip2Save for all that you guys do so passionately! I thought I’d mentioned for anyone that has Sprint cell phone service, you might have access to free Hulu. If you login to your Sprint account and look through the add-on services, Hulu will be listed and mine was for a cost of $0.00. You just have to activate it that service feature to take advantage of it, and it’s not an introductory period either, it’s indefinite. Also, I believe if you’re already paying for Hulu, your account will be converted so that Sprint covers the bill instead of you. Everyone I have mentioned this to has been able to take advantage the same as I have so I don’t believe it’s only available to select customers. Happy Hulu-ing! 🙂
Oh cool! What a neat offer! Thanks for sharing with us, Raegan!
Question, after one year at 99 cents a month, can I cancel Hulu??
Yes! You can cancel any time!
I just canceled. I got 2 mins of commercials for every 6.5 mins of this is us. No better than the NBC app!
I got it! I went through the link here on Hip2Save…I hope they get credit, ’cause I LOVE their emails! 🙂
