  1. Kristin

Thank you! I have been waiting on a deal for this since it is so expensive! Great timing! Thank you Hip2Save!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re welcome! Happy you can grab them for less with this sale, Kristin!

  2. Danielle

I’m assuming if you use the 20% off coupon online using the code, then you can’t use it again in store?

    • Isra

It’s a one time use code, it won’t work after redeeming it.

  3. Michelle

Ok, I’m losing my mind trying to figure this out…I asked earlier why it wasn’t taking the full BOGO and someone pointed out that it was taking the two lowest prices of my 4 items…ok, that made sense…but even if you look at the examples on this post, it’s still not the full amount of the free one. The last deal posted about to make it easy since there’s only two products was this:

Buy two Nexxus Keraphix Damage Healing Conditioner 33.8oz $20.99 each
    Total = $41.98
Choose Free Order Pick Up (will receive Buy 1 Get 1 Free promo on Nexxus)
    Pay $25.19
Get Free $10 Target Gift Card for spending $40
Final Cost $15.19 total – only $7.60 each!

It only takes off 15.99…why isn’t it taking off the full 20.99 price of one of them? It’s like it’s BOGO 75% or something. I can’t figure it out and it’s driving me nuts.

    • Sarah

Tied that too and it’s only taking $15.99 off..doesn’t make sense.

    • kelli

Same problem. I’ve tried buying 2 of the same product and it won’t take the full amount off for the free item. One item was $20.49 x 2 = $40.98…it only took $15.99 off. When I tried it with a $28.99 item it only took $23 off for the free item.

      • jasmine

I had the same problem so I contacted them threw the target chat and the gave me the difference back. Hope this helps

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hmm, that is odd. Checking on that now!

      • Beth

I’m seeing the same issue. Doesn’t take off the full amount it should!

      • Erin

Looks like it’s discounting products by the value of the gift card before applying the BOGO

        • snpy496

          You’re right.

    • Jana

      Same

    • Jana

I went ahead and ordered, and then used chat to get a refund of the difference. At first they tried to tell me that I couldn’t have both the GC promotion and the BOGO promotion, but I explained that the page, cart, and even the receipt showed both discounts, and it did apply *A* discount, it just wasn’t the right discount. They had to give the refund on a GC, so they’re sending a $5 GC.

      • Jac

I did the same and got a $5 adjustment to my order.

  4. Cindy

I got the 20% off in my target app, but it looks like I can only use it in-store. The items I want to order is not available at the stores. How can I use the coupon with an online order?

  5. Brenda

Can you do this deal in store and get the 10.00 off 40.00?

    • Brenda

      I’m heading there tomorrow. Thanks

      • Brenda

Sorry, just read where it’s just for today. Thanks

  6. Natalie

Can you have someone else pick this up for you? Or do you have to be there in person to pick it up for yourself. Want to take advantage of this deal but live 2 hours from the nearest target

    • Isra

Yes you can add an alternate person to pick up orders. Ive done it several times.

  7. Natalie

Can you have someone else pick up for you?

  8. Liz

My app says it’s buy one and get one free ONLY available when using in store PICKUP

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That’s correct, you will need to opt for in store pick up.

  9. Morla

Does anyone know if these products are safe to use on colored hair?

    • DANIELLE

the Pink ones – color assure white orchid are color safe.

  10. Tricia

The math in the scenarios isn’t making any sense to me

  11. Sarah Kay

It didn’t take off the entire amount for me either. When I go, I will ask for a refund.

    • Brenda

I think they are deducting the value of the gift card on all items and then deducting the bygo price, just what it’s looking like to me.

      • Liza (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Brenda! Yes, that’s exactly correct. When you head to checkout, it is deducting the value of the gift card first, and then the other promotions.

  12. Stacey

I think you’d be better to stock up in store and get the BOGO and forget about the $10 GC all together. I love their Max hold hairspray and this sale makes it a great time to buy. The numbers just don’t work right trying to make the this online scenario work.

  13. orngecat88

I contacted chat before I placed an order and she said it is because you can’t apply two promotions at once. I pointed out that Target is offering the two promotions for the products. Haven’t ordered yet but may and chat again for a refund.

  14. stacey

I chatted and was given an itemized receipt details. The gift card is subtracted proportionally from the items first before the B1G1. This is because if you returned all the items, you would be getting back more than you actually paid.

  15. Sue

I chatted with customer service. They said the BOGO was applied after the $10 GC.

  16. Lauren

I ordered 2 shampoos ($20.49 each). I then had a very nice chat with Norah (super sweet). She confirmed there are 2 promotions for the items. Then she did the calculation and refunded me the difference of $5.68 to my payment method.

    • ana jones

I need Norah! I’ve been on chat and the phone for an hour! for $5.00?? UGG
