Ok, I’m losing my mind trying to figure this out…I asked earlier why it wasn’t taking the full BOGO and someone pointed out that it was taking the two lowest prices of my 4 items…ok, that made sense…but even if you look at the examples on this post, it’s still not the full amount of the free one. The last deal posted about to make it easy since there’s only two products was this:

It only takes off 15.99…why isn’t it taking off the full 20.99 price of one of them? It’s like it’s BOGO 75% or something. I can’t figure it out and it’s driving me nuts.
Tied that too and it’s only taking $15.99 off..doesn’t make sense.
Same problem. I’ve tried buying 2 of the same product and it won’t take the full amount off for the free item. One item was $20.49 x 2 = $40.98…it only took $15.99 off. When I tried it with a $28.99 item it only took $23 off for the free item.
I had the same problem so I contacted them threw the target chat and the gave me the difference back. Hope this helps

I went ahead and ordered, and then used chat to get a refund of the difference. At first they tried to tell me that I couldn’t have both the GC promotion and the BOGO promotion, but I explained that the page, cart, and even the receipt showed both discounts, and it did apply *A* discount, it just wasn’t the right discount. They had to give the refund on a GC, so they’re sending a $5 GC.
I did the same and got a $5 adjustment to my order.
I got the 20% off in my target app, but it looks like I can only use it in-store. The items I want to order is not available at the stores. How can I use the coupon with an online order?

Yes you can add an alternate person to pick up orders. Ive done it several times.

I think they are deducting the value of the gift card on all items and then deducting the bygo price, just what it’s looking like to me.
Hi Brenda! Yes, that’s exactly correct. When you head to checkout, it is deducting the value of the gift card first, and then the other promotions.
I think you’d be better to stock up in store and get the BOGO and forget about the $10 GC all together. I love their Max hold hairspray and this sale makes it a great time to buy. The numbers just don’t work right trying to make the this online scenario work.
I contacted chat before I placed an order and she said it is because you can’t apply two promotions at once. I pointed out that Target is offering the two promotions for the products. Haven’t ordered yet but may and chat again for a refund.
I chatted and was given an itemized receipt details. The gift card is subtracted proportionally from the items first before the B1G1. This is because if you returned all the items, you would be getting back more than you actually paid.
I chatted with customer service. They said the BOGO was applied after the $10 GC.
I ordered 2 shampoos ($20.49 each). I then had a very nice chat with Norah (super sweet). She confirmed there are 2 promotions for the items. Then she did the calculation and refunded me the difference of $5.68 to my payment method.
