How is the quality of kids’ shoes at Payless? When I was a kid my mom would buy me shoes from there and they were pretty terrible. They never held up and always felt really uncomfortable so I’ve steered clear with my own kids. But I’ve seen several posts on H2S now and wonder if maybe they’ve gotten better on quality?
I bought my 4 year old boy a pair of Champion velcro sneakers…he says they’re the most comfortable shoes he has. I know that’s only one product out of thousands, but I think they’re worth a try!

I really like their sneakers for toddlers I think as the kids get older is where a lot of the issues come up. My daughter has a pair of womens sneakers and she loves them. I am not impressed with the quality however I got them on sale for 16.99 vs the 39.99 they wanted for them originally. So I feel like they hold up like a 16.99 sneaker. My two year old has a balance bike and drags his feet to stop, so he tends to wear through shoes fairly quick but the cars light up shoes we got recently have held up the best.
