My family owns all of the games above, and they get pulled out over and over from our game closet. You really can’t go wrong with anything by Gamewright, plus most of those fun card games are the perfect size for stockings! – Hip2Save Sidekick, Stacy
Yay! Every game on my christmas list was 26-30% off with the exception of Qwirkle, so I was able to snag a game for all 4 of my boys. Thanks for the heads up! Many many more included that aren’t listed so take a minute to look around! I personally can’t wait to play pass the pigs with my kids, we used to play that as a child with my own grandma!
Same here. Use to play Racko with my grandma and loved it! Getting one for our family!
Me, too!
Thank you I’ve been watching Dr Euerka since last Christmas and finally bought it.
That is my family’s favorite game!
My 5 year old loves sleeping queens! Definitely get the version in the tin, it has more special queens and is well worth the couple extra dollars.
We love sleeping queens too! My in laws complained about all the directions at first but now we all love it!
Anyone know of a good challenging game for an 8 and 13 year old to play together?
Enchanted Forest
Dragonwood!
Dragonwood is a great one! Good choice!
We love Rat a Tat Cat!
Qwixx is one of our favorites and is only $5.36. Great for a stocking stuffers or to keep on hand for birthday gifts.
I’m trying to decide between the gelato and the dr eureka as they seem very similar…any thoughts? Thx!!
I’d go for Go Go Gelato if your kids are a bit older. If they’re younger than around 8 or so, I think Dr. Eureka might be better.
Thanks! I went ahead and got the Gelato one! Our girls 4, 6 & 8 and will love this!
And we love sleeping Queens too- not just for girls!
For fun family games I recommend Sushi Go Party, Set, Qwixx, Sleeping Queens, & Dimension. They’ve all been big hits in my house. I also recommend Gravity Maze, Roller Coaster Challenge, & Rubik’s Race for single player games. Although meant as a 2 player game, in Rubik’s Race you can time yourself to see how fast you can solve a puzzle on your own. Gonuts for Donuts is essentially the “sequel” to Sushi Go but I prefer Sushi Go Party because in GfD, players can easily eliminate each other (intentionally or not) & gameplay quickly becomes boring because you don’t have enough or any cards to earn points. Thanks H2S as I just added a few more games to my ever-growing collection!
Hi! What is the difference between sushi go and sushi go party? I have a 8 year old and we like games that are quick 20 minutes to play!
They’re the same but Sushi Go Party is the original game (Sushi Go) PLUS new cards. SGP comes with an actual board plus cute little soy sauce tokens to help keep track of points & with the newer cards, there’s a ton of different & “funner” ways to play! It’s easy & plays quick after 3 rounds! If you’re thinking of purchasing, I’d go with Party – you won’t be disappointed.
I love all of these recommendations! So helpful!
Thanks! I was able to grab a couple age appropriate games for my toddler girls. They’ll love them!
Yay! Glad you could score a couple Julie! Family games are so fun!
Grabbed 2, thanks everyone for your recommendations!! And thank you Hip2save!!
You’re very welcome Rebecca!
Stacy you had listed a game that had been on your list for a while. I can’t seem to find it now, but looked it up earlier and I want that game! Can you tell me the name again.
