I did this yesterday with $3 of $12 diaper coupon on app. I bought 1 pampers diaper pack, 1 pull-ups pack, 1 pack cvs diapers

I don’t understand. It says spend $30+, but in the example it’s only 29.97 spent. How would that work?

    • Cassandra (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Great question, Kimberly! You generally only need to reach 98% of the threshold amount before coupons in order for the ExtraBucks to print. You can read more about it here.

    thanks

I was told at the store that there is a new policy started two weeks ago. Now coupon value is taken off before extra bucks will apply. So this deal will not work! Any hiptosavers explain this?

    • Borkowski, Kimberly

I didn’t hear about that. But I noticed today I purchased a rimmel eye shadow $9.49. I used a $3EB reward, and a $2 off beauty, and a 35% off regular price item. The 35% came off last, (took off $1.37) even though I handed it to the cashier first. That’s about a $2 difference than I was expecting.

% off calculation was changed about 6 months ago or longer. Now it’s after all q’s (store/manuf) AND eb’s. So basically worthless unless you need to buy something reg price and pay out of pocket with no q’s or eb’s to get the full value.

    • Mel

No, that is incorrect. EB deals are tracked BEFORE coupons/eb’s have applied. If you buy something that doesn’t trigger the eb, it’s most likely that the item isn’t in the system OR it might be on clearance (that’s why I scan everything before checking out b/c sometimes items aren’t tagged correctly). Until CVS corporate makes an official policy or post, then I would just brush off what a cashier says (cuz half the time they don’t get the correct info anyway)

Thanks!! I bought 3 pampers cruisers jumbo packs. I had a $3 off $15 baby items in my CVS app, so definitely check your app for possible additional savings. Thanks!

When I get a % off up to 99 dlrs I buy everything that gives bucks using manufacture coupons and pay cash to get more of the % off or register will kick it out – now it don’t matter how we give coupons or bucks the register will work on its own after we give everything cashier hits total and that’s how it works and years before we could see in register total after coupons and bucks now we have to do our own math as to how much bucks to give but at least we are learning math — and as everyone can see receipts have changed also and prices are going up especially in tissue and towels I never had to pay $7.74 for Scott always 6.99 and less good sales on cosmetics and no manufacture coupons the value has went down – red machine not giving out good crt either – in my 23 yrs couponing I see the difference good thing I have plenty of everything

    • Borkowski, Kimberly

I’ll definatately pay for % off items seperately from now on.

Will this deal work on easy ups training pants? FYI, in case anyone has flex dollars to spend, found out the training pants are a covered expense as least in Florida where I live 🙌🏻

Can someone tell me why the P & G buy $30 get $10 EB’s is different than the buy $30 get $10 EB’s Baby Care when the code 20005129647is the same for the Pantene and Pamper’s? (the code # is shown in each box on this weeks ad) I bought 2 Pamper’s and 3 Pantene but didn’t get the $10 EB’s on my receipt. (The manager couldn’t figure out why either since Pamper’s is a P & G brand too)…She did issue me $10 EB’s though…Just wondering for future reference…

  9. Beth

regarding the above message…On my receipt it shows I need to spend $10.02 more to get $10 EB’s Baby Care and I need to spend $18 more to get $10 EB’s P & G
