Elf on the Shelf was 50 off at my Target. Slim pickings no actual elves, just clothes and Letters to Santa.
I highly recommend the letters to Santa. I have seen them but never actually looked at them until this year. It comes with a book and letters are a shrink e dink that becomes an ornament. You will have your child’s writing forever. They can draw if they are too little. I wish I had one for every year!
Agreed I have letters to Santa the kids only write one letter a year I have enough until they grow out of it! Got it last year at 90 percent off

Make sure you check dollar spot for Christmas items, also half off. I scored holiday mugs, saucers, popcorn bowls etc. at $0.75-1.25 per piece (so $1.5-2.5 per set)
