Any idea if you can see that cheap price when you look online for your local store? I’ve tried a few around but not had any luck. Thanks! Good find!

Careful with these and toddlers! It was on the news that a toddler broke one open and had to have 18 magnets removed through surgery

Yes. Theres are very dangerous. He had to have part of his intestines removed actually. Once in this digestive tract they stuck together twisting and turning his intestines and eventually perforated them.

Not tying to be negative, but if anyone have a younger child that likes to chew on toys or have not learned what not to put in their mouth yet, it’s best to monitor them while they are play with this toy. One of our friend’s kid broke open the magnetic part and had to take a ambulance to the ER. Poor baby have13 tiny magnets in him, and it crated holes and infections in his intestines. He have to get part of his colon, intestines and appendix removed… This just sounds so scary to me, because I was planning to get this for my kid and that would’ve happen to us. I assume pets would chew open these toys as well, so just please be careful if you have these at home!!

Hi Loren! Not negative at all! It’s definitely important to watch younger kiddos no matter what kind of toy they’re playing with. I read the article on that poor little one that ingested the toy – that was SO sad. 🙁 From my understanding, those were a similar toy to these, but not the Magformers brand. They do offer some safety tips as well as their safety standards on their site too: https://www.magformers.com/counterfeits

It wasn’t this brand. It was a knockoff version previous found on Amazon (Amazon stopped selling the product) but regardless, always be careful when your little ones are playing with these.
