Does anyone know if these are good for people with restless leg syndrome? Thanks
Brenda I haven’t tried the blanket but I do have restless leg syndrome. My doctor prescribed Gabapentin and I haven’t had any problems in over 4 months. I can finally sleep!
I ordered this the other day from your post (within a few minutes of it posting) and ithat order has already been delayed by at least a week. Iām not hopeful. The last time this happened they ultimately cancelled the order.
I really want to buy this but it is not machine washable. I have a hard considering any item that I cannot toss in the washing machine. We have a weighted blanket already (but son has outgrown) and it is machine washable and can do the dryer so I know they exist.
They do exist! I got one from Costco and love it! The cover can go in the washer.
I bought one that came with a duvet cover since the blankets themselves aren’t washable. It came with both a “cool” duvet and a “warm” one. I haven’t used the warm one and probably never will!
The 18 lb is $129.99 not $99.99.
Thanks, Krista! I’m seeing that now as well. The post has been updated!
Amazon sells covers that are washable for these type of blankets (check sizing). It is worth it’s price for the option to wash the cover and keep the blanket clean and intact. I paid $29.99 for my MINKY cover. We love it!
I have a$25 off $100 Target code for trade…

I feel like this would make me too comfortable and I would have even more of a struggle waking in the mornings. However, if my sleep quality was better, maybe it would actually improve the morning wake up. š¤
Or maybe I should just buy the children versions and if my kids sleep through the night, we’d be good all around. š
But seriously though, any insight?
I don’t sleep well so I gave into the weighted blanket hype and bought a 15# one in Nov. through Amazon. It’s high quality but I wish I hadn’t spent the $ on it. I feel too ‘confined’, which ends up giving me anxiety, plus it’s hot to sleep under. I have interstitial cystitis so I get up often to go to the bathroom and it just became a workout taking it off me & putting it back on me all night.
I am afraid of that confinement feeling, too. When these first started getting popular I joked that it would make my anxiety worse. I’ll stay on the fence for now, thanks!
I found the Tranquility 12lb blanket in store tonight. The cashier scanned a coupon out of the add that took off 10% and then scanned my cartwheel app for another 10%. I had a gift card for most of it, but then used my red card for about $17. Final cost was $56. If I had used my red card for all of it, it should have came out to about $54. Check your local store.
