This vacuum is made like an older vacuum, not the cheap stuff you get nowadays. It picks up really well and the canister is small, so it’s easy to roll behind you. The vacuum head tilts side to side to get tight against the wall. The bags seem a bit pricey but are of good quality. I’m really happy I purchased this vacuum & would recommend it to anyone.
This vacuum sucks in the best way possible! It’s easy to use and assemble. I have dust mite allergies so this really helps since no dust is leaked out of the vacuum. LOVE IT!
I have owned Kenmore vacuums and Dyson stick vac. I have been cleaning hardwoods with Dyson because Kenmore was not as strong. I bought the Miele for carpet; however, I am blown away by how much better it is than my Dyson on the hardwoods. The canister 360 wheels maneuver better than previous canisters. Plus, the room doesn’t smell like a dog after I finish cleaning. Definitely recommend this vacuum!!
I have a similar Miele. we don’t know the proper pronunciation, so we call her “Milly the lil German vac”. Milly is great on the hardwoods and stairs. Milly was OK on the area rugs UNTIL we got a GSD puppy. He sheds like crazy, so we were glad we kept the Dyson Pet upright – Milly just couldn’t handle the dog fur that seems to velcro itself to the rugs. Alas, the old Dyson does have the permanent dog smell – but we just light some candles that we got on discount via a H2S post. LOLs
All things considered – Milly is great and worth the price. She comes out of the closet at least 3 times a week for quick cleanings. She is super helpful for car interior cleaning too.

Wow $400-$600 DIY vacuum
I can see where you’d say this is expensive, but I’ve had my $400 dyson for 10 years. If this is anything like a dyson (or better), i could see how it would be worth it.
