Is there any catch?
I’ve ordered countless magazines from here… NO catch. No credit card info needed and no tricky renewals.
Does anyone know if this will just extend current subscriptions? I can’t see that anywhere. In the extra offers there is a $2 for 12 more issues of real simple, but I would want that to extend the free year, not send me 2 of the same magazine. Anyone tried this before with them?
I have been in the situation where I was getting 2 copies each month and after a few contacts, i was able to get it consolidated, you just have to contact customer service and work it out with them. but it may take some time. It took a few months for them to figure it out.

Prior to providing any required info, I saw that the site is NOT a secure site. Have any of you with current subscriptions through Mercury Magazines ever had an issues? (no pun intended! 😏) Thanks!
BTW, I wasn’t even considering credit card info, just basic information. I just don’t generally share ANY information, anymore, on unsecured sites.
If this is a free subscription, why do I need to give my credit card info?
You shouldn’t for the Real Simple offer. I just submitted it without entering a credit card. I have redeemed offers from them at least 10 times and have never given credit card information.
You only need to enter your credit card if you opt for additional $2 magazines. I ended up closing the browser because it wasn’t secure, and still got an email saying my order for real simple was received

Than you. I enjoy this magazine and have received it free for several years. I often forget to check rewards survey and they now have quite a few magazines that I like to receive. I have never been charged and I have always received the magazines I have signed up for without issues.
