If you have an account on Credit Karma, it is completely FREE to file, no strings attached! It could not be any easier!
Heads-up: this deal doesn’t include State, which is an additional fee. You also only pay when you file, so best be getting on top of that if you want to meet the 1/28 deadline. One good things about it is you don’t need a CD-Rom drive to use it like most of the other buy-in-store deals out there.
We just filed ours yesterday. We bought a house last year so they recommended the deluxe, the 39.99 price was crossed off and a zero was in place. We didnt pay anything to file.
My sis went in to hnr block because she needed the advance and it cost her 410.00 for a simple file.
If you are a Lyft driver you can get the $89.99 one for free.
How? My husband drove for uber and Lyft for 2 months last year and it’s the only thing making our tax filing not free.
