I got this exact one for Christmas and love it.

    • Lois

      I love mine!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! Happy you could grab it today, Holly! You are SO very welcome!

What does everyone make in them? I’ve seen/heard the rave about them, but what’s so “great” about them? Frying without the grease?

    • Nej

I use mine for everything. Chicken breast, steaks, pork chops, make my own fries with olive oil and a potato. They are easy to use, easy clean up.

    • MombieZombie

makes truly crispy fries and reheats pizza and other takeout to make it really tasty and crunchy again. I even make hard boiled eggs in mine, no water needed just throw them in for 16 min at 250 degrees and they peel easier than any eggs ever.

    • Ann

Would this size be too small for a family with two adults and two younger kids -8and 3 ? Thanks

    • Lynn

Hi. I have 3 adults that need food so I purchased a the 10 qt Nuwave Brio from Kohl’s with a code over the holiday for $78. It allows you to cook more rather than do several smaller batches. I would say larger is better imo.

    • MombieZombie

Fits 2 large chicken breasts or 2 8ounce steaks, fries for 3 adults. You could use a rack or trivet to add another layer of meat, or cook in batches. It cooks pretty quickly, great results
I cook for 2 and have this 4 QT as well as a 5.3 and use them at the same time, one for entree and one for side.
      I love this unit.

Does anyone know how long the Ninja is priced at $69.00 ?

    • Tolu

Love my Gourmia. I have a 6 quart ninja but stopped using because of the basket. Hard to wash anything that sticks to it. But the gourmia is non stick, so washing is a breeze and it does the same thing.

      • Denise

I love my 6quart goirmia also. Basket is super easy to clean. Bacon grease goes to bottom for easy clean up

      • Tolu

Sorry, I meant 6 quart nuwave. Nightmare to clean!

Make sure you can return it if you need to. I bought one (a different brand) and found the fries to be mushy and the fish and chicken dry. The time it took to make those I could have done it in the oven and be happy with the results. I know it is just my opinion but I felt I needed to share it

    • Denise

Really? I find my oven takes 10 minutes just to preheat

  6. MombieZombie

Have this and it cooks very well. Crispy fries, evenly baked biscuits, roasts nuts & pumpkin seeds, etc.
Ceramic coated interior won’t peel and is super easy to clean. One year warranty.

This one is a winner folks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! SO glad you have been loving yours! Thanks a bunch for taking a moment to comment!

Is this different from the ninja foodie?

    • MombieZombie

This is an air fryer only. The foodi is an instant pot / air fryer combo. One lid pressure cooks and one lid air frys. This unit shown is a 1500 watt air fryer only, and a more powerful air fryer than the foodi. I chose this one and I really like it.

I also bought the Ninja Instant Cooker (their instant pot) and it’s really great too. I didn’t want the foodi, it’s HUGE and hard to store both lids unless you’ve got a large kitchen… which I don’t.

  8. Lois

How is this one VS philips’s?

  9. Luv🌺

Thank you ladies for responding. 🌺
Told have you tried making fried plantain in the air fryer, is it anything close to frying it in oil? Just wondering if it will be worth the expense and varied uses. 🌺

  10. Niecy

I ordered this and I hope I have no regrets after reading the reviews. I wonder know if I should have went to Costcos 🙁

  11. Jenny

Wow jumped up to 89.99 now

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Bummer! Thanks, Jenny!
