Iam not sure why, but my kids are on the fence with these because they say “koolabarra by ugg” and not just “ugg” I dont get it, i feel ugg is ugg right can someone tell me why they may feel this way, it’s so much cheaper then the regular classic uggs, iam tryna save some money and gotta convince them lol

I was wondering as well. Google says “Touted as a more affordable and fashion forward option than Ugg, Koolaburra by Ugg is officially launching this September with ten styles after its purchase and remodeling by Deckers Brands. … Koolaburra by Ugg is “a little bit more fashion forward,” said Jennifer Somer, vice president of Ugg women’s and Koolaburra.”

  3. RAZZIES

Koolaburra by UGG is also sold on QVC so it’s a legit UGG product/brand.

Darn! I wish they had 7 still!!

I bought a couple pair of these because of the price last year. They are not like UGGs. They may be made by the same company and use similar products. They are not even close to as comfortable, as soft or as well made. I’m always up for saving a buck but UGG is a luxury brand for a reason.

Bummer, thanks for letting us know!

These are suede and faux fur rather then sheepskin thus the big price difference. Frankly given how dirty they get go save a buck; after one winter season even real uggs look very worn in and saggy

My daughter got a pair of these for Christmas and they are definitely NOT like UGGS. They are very cute. But uncomfortable. We own several pair of uggs that we share and there’s no comparison. I bought a pair of bear claws this month and I think they are more comfortable than the Kookaburras. Go try them on somewhere first is my advice.

Agree uncomfortable and not the same quality. Spend the extra $ for Uggs.

I have a pair of koolaburra’s but not this style. I love them. They are comfortable. I have never had Uggs. I can’t justify the expense. I love the koolaburra’s I have.
