Just bought a few yesterday at70% off..
I went to target last night and my target had 75% sign up but when I price checked a bunch of items. None of them rang up even 50% off. Even though the items were labeled as Valentine plush etc on the scanner, but they were only about 25% off
I just went to mine…70%
Oh and there was nothing left. The employees were also taking things to the back. Why do I feel like they get rid of things even before they hit the 50% off? It didn’t used to be like that. Your picture has ton of stuff. Maybe your target should talk to my target 😳🤦♀️
I know that the Targets near me sell their unsold items to Goodwill. It is possible that they get more from Goodwill than selling it to the public for 90% or even 70% off. Who knows, but yes, things have changed over the years. I am thankful that this is the last year for Valentines for us since my child is going to be going to middle school next year.
Hmmm I heard that about goodwill before but here are my two cents… if they sell things 90% off they might not get as much money as they would from goodwill BUT their costumers WILL spend more therefore offsetting their 90% lost. It never fails if I go there and find good deals (90%) off I feel so good about it that end up spending more money walking through the aisles getting more stuff LOL 😬. I guess you are right about not NEEDING valentines stuff but it really hurts during their Xmas clearance 😫
I got Dylan’s Candy Bars for .30 each last night (90% off!)! Really high quality chocolate and will be great for gifting since the wrappers are not Valentine’s specific.

Stores are really different! I found these but they were full price, though Valentines merchandise was up to 90 percent off. I noticed Target pulled some Vday merchandise and clearance stickered it. The discount isn’t good as the Vday section. :/ In fact, I still saw Thanksgiving and Christmas items floating around at around half off!

Not in my experience. Two nearby Targets *should* have had a variety of Starbucks mugs and tumblers but neither had any.

Went to 2 different Target stores. One was 70% and the other was only 50%. Disappointed and most of the good stuff is gone. Last year they had so much for 90% off.
Man i went to cvs, walgreens, walmart and albertsons yesterday none had any chocolate left 🙁 ill try target today

I just checked 2 targets nearby. One had 70/50 and other had 90/70.
I went last night and my Target was still just 50% off and nearly nothing left.
I never see 70-90% in the stores near me. I was happy to get 50% on stickers, hearts, Valentine’s, and pipe cleaners for crafting, yay!
I went to 2 Target stores during lunch: LB Bellflower (2270 N Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90815-2017) was only 70% non-perishable & 50% candy, whereas the Lakewood Ctr Mall (141 Lakewood Center Mall, Lakewood, CA 90712-2419) had 90% non-perishable & 70% candy. I will ck the Cypress location after wrk.

I’ve started to buy the after holiday clearance when it goes to 50% off if I find nice things that I know I will use. My experience the past few years is that by the time it goes to 70% off, there is very little left and most of the time I never see things 90% off any more. Just my experience in the area I live.
I agree with Judy. If there’s something you really have your eye on at 50% off u better grab it. If you’re lucky enough to find things at 70-90% that is just a bonus!
A lot of my stuff at my store was ringing up 50%.. but then I found an end cap of opal house items. They came up 90%! I’m most excited about a pillow I ended up getting for two dollars and two single stem pink and white vases for $.79. 🙂

I went tonight to my local Target and everything was 90% off. I got the mugs featured in this post for .99 cents. I got Valentines for my twins for their classes next year for .30 a box, a cute Cat & Jack Purse for my daughter for .99 cents. I think I hit it right and they’re doing a total store renovation so the store is a little chaotic. I hope others find great deals!

I’m so lucky to have multiple targets around me (NorCal) and most of the stores hit 90/70 today. I got most of what I wanted and some so pretty happy. I noticed that “Dollar Spot” items were not clearanced to 90% off. Just 50 or 70 depending on the store. Anybody know when Walgreens will hit 90%?

I found some more Valentine’s goodies. Cashier was impressed with my conversation heart pyrex bowl for .83 cents! I also got a nice ello wine set for a buck. Star wars women’s sock set .80 cents, Star wars lipsmackers sets for .39 cents, and Essie Valentine’s nail polishes for .89 cents a piece. I bought the Oreo mug set that you have pictured. I went yesterday 2/19 at 5pm and everything had already been pulled and taken to the back or wherever, I was so sad!
Some kohl’s employees be lying or making up their own policy. I contacted CS service about using an expired kohl’s cash. I was in panicked mode when found out my cash will expired tonight but won’t be able to make it to store. CS said I can use it ten days after expiration so I went to store and cashiers told me I can use expired cash even if it’s one day over. I swear every employee makes up their own store policy
My store basically only had candy left. I was hoping to score the silicone muffin tray but no luck.

My target was so weird with the clearance. Dollar spot stuff was back with valentines but it was 50%, valentines and spritz valentine crafts and decor were 90%, candy was 70% and some other random things were at 70%. Kids shirts were 90%. Still got good deals but the dollar spot stuff being clearly valentine pencils, cards, socks etc still at 50% off was weird.
I noticed the same thing! I have two Target’s relatively close to me so I went to both. Both had Valentine’s 90%off and one had the dollar spot items at 70% while the other only had them at 50%. Very odd!
Always make sure to scan the items. I went tonight and the signs said 70% & 50% but items actually were scanning 90% and 70%…apparently they just didn’t change the signs.
I called my target yesterday and they said it was 90% off. I drove all the way down (I live an hour away) and it was only 70%. Again today I called and they said food was 70% off but everything else was 90%. Again I drove all the way there to find everything was still 70%. Am I missing something? Guest Services just said each item has different discounts so I would just have to scan everything.
My store has 70% written but when we scan it’s coming to 90%..so always scan and find out.
