I just want to say thank you for going back to the original highlighted in red, longer lists deals, on cvs, walgreens, target, and riteaide. I appreciate it and as you know, from the many responses everyone will be happy again. 🙂

    • Cassandra (Hip Sidekick)

You’re most welcome, annie. Reader feedback is SO important to us and we sure appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion.

      • Kathryn

        Ditto!

      • mel

This isn’t even the full ad. While I certainly appreciate the red highlighted deals, it’s disappointing that the other sales/coupon matchups are missing.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the feedback Mel! I am chatting with the team members who work on the store deals this week to explain how important it is that they thoroughly go through the weekly ad and add all of the good deals (along with highlighting the hot deals in red).

  2. Kathy

Yes, thank you for going back to the old format! I appreciate seeing all the great deals Hip2Save comes up with!

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

You’re very welcome Kathy! Thank you so much for taking a moment to comment! 🙂

  3. mbertra1

Loving the old format! Thank you!

  4. Sarah

Thanks for switching back to the old format!!

  5. Joyce

But still a short deals list even though most of your followers said they preferred the old, long lists….

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Joyce,

Just a heads up that I am passing along all of this feedback regarding the weekly deal list still being short to the team members who do the store deals, and also going over being much more thorough and listing all of the good deals. Stay tuned as I am hoping next week’s store deals will be much longer.

  6. tntibos

The Physicians Formula #InstaReady Glide-On Gel Eyeliner are on clearance and probably won’t produce the Extra care buck. They recently updated the Physicians Formula display and got rid of alot of lower priced products and replaced them with higher priced ones.

    • hong

You are right. The Gel Eyeliners were clearanced 50% of at my store last month. I thought they will be 75% off like others clearance , so I waited for that. But they didn’t. They got rid of them, and replaced the $12.99 one now.

  7. Tracey

Thanks for going back to the old format! Appreciate it!

  8. Claire Hackett

Thank you for going back! I appreciate all your hard work!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thank you Claire. ❤️

  9. Jodi D

Thankful for the old format! You all are such a blessing to me!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank YOU for the kind words. I sure appreciate YOU and our awesome community here at Hip2Save. ❤️

  10. Patty d

    Awesome list!! Thanks!!

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome Patty d! 🙂

  11. Jamie

I bought physicians formula cosmetics few days ago and got $10 back. If im going to buy one again on Sunday, will I get another $10 ECB? Thanks

    • hong

Yes, it will. Because, this week the deal is spend $15 get $10 and next week the deal will be spend $14 get $10. HTH

  12. katie

Was there just not much in the ad this week? It still seems short, although I’m glad to see that you are highlighting the best deals in red again.

    • mel

This def isn’t the full ad. Lots of sales/coupon matchups still missing.

    • Steve

They’re cutting down the workload by not doing the full ad anymore. It’s understandable, they’re short staffed or whatever, it happens. Things got weird when someone made the decision to make up a fictional story about lots of readers saying it was too overwhelming for them to look through it all even though literally zero readers said that, instead of just saying the real reason for it. Now that the fictional narrative has been put out there and everyone has complained, the best solution was considered to be still keeping the workload lessened by not doing the full ad, but adding in a select few extra deals not considered good enough to be in red, in an attempt to create the illusion that everything is “back to normal” because there’s certain deals in red.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Hi Katie, Mel and Steve,

Thanks for taking the time to comment and share your feedback. I will be getting on a meeting with the team member who does the CVS deals this week to go over all of the feedback and to make sure she is taking the time to list ALL of the good deals from the weekly ad.

The idea behind shortening the weekly deals was to make them not so overwhelming as we noticed less and less views over the past couple of years on these weekly deals. We often look at post views as that helps us to really hone in on what deals you all like and the types of deals you don’t like.

HOWEVER, based on your comments and the comments of others, I will be chatting with the gals who write up these deals and explain about being much more thorough and adding all of the good ones (along with highlighting the hot ones in red).

I hope that you all will stick around and check out next week’s deals as I think you’ll be pleased with what you see.

Thanks again for sharing your concerns. ❤️

  13. Jessica

I don’t understand how people can complain.. if your unhappy, just do the the research YOURSELF. Problem solved.

    • mel

You’re missing the point. If they’re gonna post the ad, then it should be complete. Not what the hip team thinks is the ‘best’ deal. Because what’s best for YOU isn’t necessarily what’s best for ME. I might need cold medicine, but nothing’s listed. My husband is running low on vitamins, and nothing’s listed. My Sunday paper no longer puts the print CVS ad inside, and I really don’t like looking at it on my phone or computer. This site has been a blessing having the sales & matchups in one spot.

    • Tia McDaniel

That’s the whole point of these deal sites so that doesn’t make any sense.

  14. Heather (CVS Sidekick)

Hi all! I’m Heather and I put together the CVS Deals each week for Hip2Save. As Collin has commented above, we really value reader feedback! I have read through all the comments (good and bad) and will be working hard to make sure that the weekly CVS post is helpful for all of our readers. Please stay tuned, as I will be adding more deals to this week’s post and I will also make sure that next week’s post lists ALL the available deals. Thanks again for taking the time to voice your concerns!

  15. julie

I rarely comment, but I do look through this CVS post every week and use it to plan my shopping strategies! Thank you for all the work you do. I do enjoy the long list of sales, but understand that it takes a long time to do. Thank you for all you do!

  16. Paul

My Ibotta doesn’t have the Post Honey Bunches of Oats available at CVS.

  17. anjana Kapoor

Thank you so much for all you do!

  18. Amanda C

I have a question about all of the drug store lists… Since the Thursday Sneak Peek went away is there a way for this post to be posted earlier? I LOVED the Thursday posts and understand why they aren’t being posted anymore… Just wondering! I love this site and all that yall do for us! 😉

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Good Morning, Amanda! Thanks for your feedback about the Thursday posts – these may be something we bring back if we are getting a lot of feedback from readers like you that these posts are being missed.

As far as the upcoming weekly deals, we will try to get them posted as early as possible on Saturday morning as we know they are super important in helping you to plan your shopping for the week.

Thanks so much for the kind words about the site – we really appreciate you! Have a great Monday!

  19. Sue

For the Tresemme shampoo deal I have the BoGo coupon plus cvs coupon for $2 off $10 shampoo. Does anyone know if I can combine these two? Will cvs look the transaction as $5.49 or $10 transaction for coupons?

    • D

      Yes

  20. riss

ONLINE price of Speed stick/ Lady Speed stick twin pack is $2.49, same as the single ones. Combine this with a cheap item for ship and save to get free shipping, then cancel the subscription for that item. And check if you have $2 off 2 speed stick coupon on your cvs card. With coupons and 2 EB I will get, it just cost me 0.25 cents per deodorant.

    • Steve

Sale price includes twin packs in store also, not online only.

  21. smileygrace

    1. Thanks again for bringing back the longer post with the best deals highlighted in red and I look forward to seeing the even fuller list next week.
    2. I noticed at my CVS this week that the Gold Emblem snack items are still on sale for $1 each so I was able to use the coupon I printed last week for these items (is it still available this week?) and get two for free even though I missed out on getting to CVS last week. YAY!
    3. I noticed all the coupon deal matchups listed this week are ONLY good with coupons from this past Sunday 2/24 (except for the matchup involving the coupon machine q from previous week). Is this just a coincidence or does this always happen and I never realized it? i just would think some coupons from previous weeks SS and RMN that have not expired would pair with this weeks sales to provide amazing deals that are just waiting for someone to figure them out. I know in the past this has been detailed in stores savings posts but I just don’t know if CVS was one or not. What does everyone else know/remember?
