I downloaded this last time and my 3 year old loves this app. A little hard for him but will teach him a lot. Thanks.

Thanks for taking a moment to comment Holli! πŸ™‚

My daughter is 6 and has been playing it for awhile. It’s great. It is British English, but otherwise a great app.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Aww, That’s great! SO glad she has been enjoying it, Debbie!

  3. Janell

This is such a cute site! When I taught computer classes to elementary kids, I use to love using this with the younger kids! They really enjoyed it too!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the feedback, Janell! Good to know how much your students liked it!

  4. Kristin

I broke down and bought this app way back when, my daughter still loves it years later.

Hi Everyone, My kids are ages 8 and 10 (3rd and 4th grade). They are on grade level so this app mentioned is too young for them. Does anyone have any good academic apps for older kids? Thanks!

    • Samantha

it’s not free, but my daughter’s school actually provided this app for all the students… IXL def recommend looking into it πŸ™‚

You should contact your child’s teacher to ask if any of the programs they use at school has the at-home component then you won’t have to spend any $. And a side note, Khan Academy.org is a free website that is really good for older kids. It helped my daughter and nephew with some math topics they struggled with. Video tutorials and practice items are all free.

    Awesome, thank you!

  7. Katie

I haven’t been able to get this one to load to my Kid’s Fire Tablet, only on my phone; does anyone know how I can get this one to load there?

  8. amy111

I got this app for my 5yr old last time you posted, and she loves it! Like others said, it is a British app so there is some heavy accents on certain sounds or words. With that be said, my little one likes this much better than ABC mouse! Just thought I’d share πŸ™‚

  9. Darcy

Silly question, but how do we get it free? I just tried to download, but only see an option to purchase.

    • Kimberly (Stylish Sidekick)

Hi Darcy! We posted this back on March 3rd, and it appears this offer is no longer available. πŸ™ I just expired the post.
