I have this attachment and i love it! Just buy a big chunk of meat and grind it. Saves me over $1/lb!
I use it to grind my holiday cranberry/orange relish. I use a bag of frozen cranberries (so they don’t squirt as much) and 2 oranges, washed, peels and all, sliced into 1/8 so they fit in the hopper. Then add 2 c sugar and stir and chill. Eat, enjoy.
Yes, this attachment is amazing! I grind hamburger from roasts when we’re running low (we buy a whole cow) and I also buy pork to grind up into Italian sausage and breakfast sausage. No added fillers, just exactly what I want in it.

Just so others are aware this is the plastic version. I bought it as a wedding gift and didn’t realize it until I opened it so I’ll be returning and buying the metal which is $25-30 more. It does seem to be ok for most people? But I don’t want to take the chances of it breaking fast on them.
