I have been able to find some awesome readers to trade various codes or rewards with that I wasn’t going to be able to utilize myself. I have been cheated by a person who claimed to pay for my coupons and didn’t even bother to contact me after using them. After waiting for several hours when I emailed her she said she is waiting for the order to be picked up and then she will pay. She now says the order is cancelled and cannot pay. The coupons are already redeemed by her.
@Hip2Save can we have a list somewhere on site where we can put these people’s email and names? So others are not scammed by them again.
Sorry to hear this happened to you. I think we all totally agree with you. Unfortunately since it says trade at your own risk, they probably won’t add one. What is the full email and name the person used so we can all write it down. I personally have a list of scammers and know that I am not the only one.

While Hip2Save probably won’t provide a list of scammers, it would be helpful if you posted the name and email address of the person who did not hold up their end of the bargain. Many Hip2Savers who are on this trading post everyday are keeping their own list of “scammers”. That way you can properly warn others.
I’ve noticed that those who have been “called out” recently have not been trading so you would be doing a great public service by warning others.

So sorry this happened to you, Reese! I was also scammed the other day 🙁 Pls let us know who the person was, so we can steer clear of such traders.
I am so so sorry this happened to you! There seems to be a “bad apple” every so often called out on this site but now it’s happening more and more. I agree with the others, please post the email/name for the good traders to add to our lists of SCAMMERS. This way it cuts down on having repeat offenders getting away with this!
I totally sympathize with you OP. Looks like the person is experienced scammer. So for example like many of us trade Kohl’s coupon here, you take the coupon apply to your order online and say you will pick it up in store and then only pay/trade. WOW!!!! If this term of condition of paying for trade, only after the order is delivered was not agreed by both of you (in your case doesn’t seem it was) shows that person is Fraud and totally scammer. The order can get cancelled for any reason so you don’t pay for the coupon trade??? again WOW!!!
Everyone here reading my comment – we all are here to save money let it be small penny. Be honest, you never know what situation the other person you are trading with is in. Some people try to meet ends to just survive.

Some of these trading posts are so ridiculous. I dont know whether to laugh, roll my eyes or pity. Some of them have nearly the equivalent of Sunday newspaper coupons. I could get some of these “trades” in my monthly Valpac!!! My absolute fave is when people ask for ‘small value gift cards’. Esp when most of their valuable golden trades can be found by simply getting the app. Thanks for the giggles everyone!
