Anyone know where you find a 1 lb propane tank and around how much they cost?
I think you can find the 1 lb. ones in the camping section at walmart, and any other store that sells outdoor stuff.
You can find them anywhere just about, from Target to Walmart to Dick’s sporting goods, or even Sears.
I only mention Sears because I’ve bought several for “free” there with the ShopYourWay points.
BUT you should look into getting an adapter hose that goes from a standard propane tank to the 1lb size. A 1lb can is $3.50 at Target (can’t be shipped). So 20 of those would be ~$70. A 20lb propane tank can be filled for a ton less than that, ~$20 for me. Granted you will have to have or get a tank, but will be cheaper after a few uses.
