The Dawn (original, same size) is the same price at Sams until 3/24.

Would be be cheaper to shop at Kroger, as Palmolive 20oz is just 99cents!!!

That soap is not as good

    • Sheri

      Nothing beats Dawn. 🙂

Kirkland brand dish soap at Costco Is usually cheaper than Dawn. I used to be a huge Dawn fan until they were handing out Kirkland sample bottles. Its the same stuff without fancy Dawn label and cheaper!

Do you really feel that way as I totally love Dawn and the way I feel it cuts the grease and I do not use as much as the other brands. I am willing to try if you say that is true because as always I am looking to save 2 or 3 bucks. 🙂

I feel the same way about Dawn and with it being on price cut I’ll probably just go with that again rather than risk the $6 or whatever Costco one is seeing if it’s the same. I bought a giant dawn like this about 3 years ago and have about a third left still. I love my Dawn 🙂

The Costco brand is way better IMO than the Dawn advanced! I love it and notice a difference if they are out!

Stick with Dawn I’ve tried The Kirkland brand and in No way Compares to Dawn I felt like the Kirkland brand left my dishes still dirty and greesy

I still prefer the original dawn. Some are saying this 2x ultra dawn doesn’t have same grease cutting power as the original. It’s hard to find the original though. And if the original is used to clean wild life from an oil spill, that’s the one I want to use!

wished they had made it normal dish soap without being anti-bacterial. that’s not gentle on the hands at all and kills both the good and bad bacteria. Regular soap does just fine with helping wash away bacteria. I normally use the natural stuff but Dawn does work great for pots/pans and dishes that are greasy.

Are any of your deals available in Canada?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! You could always call in to your location before heading out to be sure! Hope that helps!

Even though this works better than other brands, it is not nearly as good at cutting grease as the Dawn Ultra (blue soap)

  9. Nichole

I use dawn for cleaning. Dawn and vinegar.
