Anyone use this? I’m wondering how well it works.

There are great reviews on this product from reputable websites. I have been using for about two weeks and LOVE it. This is a great deal!!

To be more specific…the Glow Tonic has gotten great reviews & is the one I use. Can’t speak to the other products by this line.

I personally use this product and love it. I have very oily skin that is acne prone and it doesn’t cause me to break out or irritates my skin. It also doesn’t leave a residue or sticky feeling on the skin after. Usually, I’ll apply it at night before bed and wake up with my skin feeling smoother, brighter, and clearer. You won’t see dramatic results right away and it won’t magically vanish your acne or blemish. But I can tell it helps in some ways because my skin doesn’t look as good on days I don’t use it.

Just to clarify, I’ve only used the Pixi Glow toner and that was what my previous comment was about. Thanks! 🙂

This brand is a “cult favorite” item in UK beauty. One of their other toners (Pixie Glow) is legendary, and it is also included in the $10 sale. Pixie Glow has glycolic acid — it’s a toner that acts as a gentle exfoliator (and smells lovely). You feel a faint warming for a few minutes from the glycolic acid, but it’s not a harsh product. I use it Glow before my AM serums (vitamin-c based), followed by moisturizer and sunscreen/primer. I think serums absorb better with it, and make-up looks better (because there are no patches of dead skin to dull it). If you do a search for Pixie Glow on beauty blogs, you’ll find it’s been blogged about at lot.

Awesome! Hope you love that one too!

The Pixi Glow Tonic is quite popular b/c it’s actually one of the few glycolic acid (AHA) products available at the drugstore. However it’s only 5% glycolic acid which isn’t a whole lot, so it’s really best for those that are beginners when it comes to chemical exfoliation. I much prefer Paula’s Choice 8% AHA gel to the Pixi Tonic though- if you’re looking for something that will quickly even out your tone and texture and make your skin bright and smooth, then that is a *much* better product in my experience.

With any new AHA or product containing actives, you always want to patch test first and use a dedicated sunscreen as well. It’s best to use your AHA’s at night, since they make your skin much more sensitive to sun damage, esp. if you are using Vitamin C as well.

FWIW, my board-certified dermatologist is the one who advised to do the Vitamin C AM, and retinol-based serum PM. They can’t both be done PM, as they don’t play well together. I wear an excellent sunscreen always. So the expert advice on when to use Vitamin C actually varies by regimen and can be quite patient-specific.
