I already have my colors picked out and am just waiting for this sale. I love their quality and my local store is amazing. I’ve heard you can buy during the sale and bring back to add color if you haven’t decided yet but know how much you’ll need. That’s a win win for someone like me who takes a long time to finalize decisions.
The nice thing about Sherwin Williams is you can just go buy cans of the base white paint and then take them back later to be tinted for free when you know what color you want. I would recommend their cashmere paint. I’ve actually taken back a half used can because I wanted it a little lighter to use in a different room and they re-tinted it for free.
Sherwin Williams is the best paint we’ve tried and all my painter friends will use. We thought she was just being silly but the difference is worth your back breaking to cover imperfections, lines when it dries etc. Our living room was awful. Lowe’s Sherwin Williams isn’t even high quality. You have to go to the store. This sale makes it cheaper than Lowe’s paint!
Love their paint, both interior and exterior! I choose paints from their color collections (booklets) in-store and have never been disappointed. When it’s time to paint, we wait for these sales to make it affordable.
Fantastic paint and coverage. I get the super paint in satin and it’s lovely! I learned the hard way that even paint at Lowe’s doesn’t cover this well. I like to buy with deals like this and tint later.
I live in an older home with aluminum siding. My husband painted the siding and we got the paint from our local Sherwin Williams. It was not cheap but it still looks new 10 years later. The $150 we spent for the paint and supplies was far cheaper than putting up vinyl siding. They also tinted it off a small piece of siding my husband brought in to match the color.
I have a good bit of painting experience. Good quality paint goes on perfectly and in less time. Low quality paint can have you doing twice the amount of work. Sherwin-Williams is the best! Goes on like butter!
Do they not have 40% off sales anymore? It’s almost been a year since their last one. Should I wait?
Hi Jessica! Hopefully they’ll have another 40% off sale in the near future. If they do, we’ll be sure to post so stay tuned!
They just had one 3/29-3/31. It was just for those couple days and I didn’t see it advertised anywhere— just got an email.
Just received a RetailMeNot mailer today with a full-page Sherwin Williams ad on the back page:

Huge thanks for posting this. I can wait! I love their paint, it goes on like butter, but it’s pricey. I’m painting my entire house, one or two rooms at a time.
We were told by our local store they will have a 40% off sale 4/12-4/14. We close on our new house 4/12 and will promptly buying paint!!!
How exciting! Congratulations on your new home, Michele!
